God, I haven't posted a level on here since... '01 or '02.. Well, rate this level 1-10 and tell me how I can improve. :O

ugly house :( i dont like it.

Grass detail & etc is fab, house is different but I reckon I could like that.

I agree I like the landscape, not the house.

I like both. House looks cool.

That detail reminds me A LOT of my own. Were you inspired by me XD?

Also overall it's a decent level just fix that ugly house. :(

I think it looks good, simple is good - at times.

Oh hey, the dirt path is actually logical. I applaud that. It's difficult to maintain logic in the NewMain style. You've done a good job making the fenceposts not random either, but marking along the road.

The trees, I like. Keeping it varied but plentiful.

This is, technically, one of the best levels presented in the NewMain style that I have seen, however it is not without it's flaws.

You have the house path stones strewn about at random seeming to follow no order or rationality.

The house itself looks insufficient as a dwelling. I like how you tried new things, but the building itself looks incomplete and rehashed from a style that has been inferior all along.

The grass/botanical detailing could be said to be inconsistent, but as is nature, so I'll excuse that in my grading.

Again, this is one of the better technically done NewMain style levels. Really, keeping the logical with the NewMain is mostly well done here. Keep refining this with experience, and you'll produce some of the best technical levels for all of Graal.

With the house? Scratch that style. There's not much you can do when the foundation of that style of house is weak to begin with.

My overall grade: B+

You demonstrate a good understanding of tiling/level theory and a lot of potential to take it far as long as you keep practising.

Just why... WHY do you have to detail your comments on it? If you really have alot to say just bullet point it, because in every level post i've seen i've just seen LONG posts from you and I don't even bother to read them because they're so long and tedious!

Are you allergic to words?

I am confident that my post, even if too long for your attention span (limit at 100 words?), is much more constructive than "Grass detail & etc is fab, house is different but I reckon I could like that."

Details pretty good, not a big fan of the house. And on one of those trees, the side is cut off a bit.

Me too, I just don't like it when you have to read them for 10 minutes at an average reading speed.

At 232 words in 10 minutes, you read a mere 23.2 words / minute? Elementary school testing had me tested at over 200 words per minute when I was ten.

Hey, I've even been clocked at 148 wpm in terms of typing.

23.2 WPM is not an average reading speed. Anybody who has difficulty reading any faster than that would be a very likely candidate for handicapp status and would be elegible for government support.

See 119 WPM is believable, I thought I was a fast typer, probably the fastest typer in the college I go to, and I only scored a 110 WPM on the typing exam.

I can "touch type". Go me.

148 was no errors either.

Keep in mind, that's when I was doing 3 hours + of C++ every day :P

Right now I would probably max out at about 120 wpm. I type leisurely at 60 - 80.

I go nice at around 80 wpm, but i can exceed to over 100wpm. Depends what im typing.

I can do about 200 with words like to and hi aswell =p

i read at 234098209 wpm

about that level...

Put enough caffeine in me and I could get up that high ;)

yeahh i'm pretty pro, I can read 1,000,000 WPM. Got Epic armor and all that shiz..
