I tried pixelling about a week or so ago, which was the first time I sat down to seriously try in about 7 months...


I'm afraid I have to say I'm very rusty, and probably won't be doing it anymore.

Sometimes I don't LAT for a LONG time too.

Same here. This is the first time ive sat down and tried to pixel in a very long time, 3D Studio Max and Photoshop are leading the way in todays day and age, and 3d artists a dying bredd, so I decided I'm not going to fall victim to that. So I'll try to make something I couldnt make a long time ago.. But am finding it oddly easy now.

Pixelling is a niche art.

smirt362 - Good idea - thats what i was going to go for. Before i do that though i will colour it with the same palette then switch the colours to a darker tone at a later stage, as it is easier to see brighter colours while producing graphics than darker ones.

No. Darker tone will be left to a setlighteffect kinda scritp where the level is darkened, that way its more versatile in what i can use it -

Thanks zero. im getting rid of the face on the trunk, and i am gogin to shade better when the lineart and primary colourign is done then will plan on adding a head by where the hands are to make it look like a tortured natural soul or such. ERm ive doodle quickly my idea though its going to have a lot more work done to it

Definately get rid of the face, but keep the hand. Nice improvements.
