No NPC's on Gmap
 

I submitted a ticket awhile back and I got some attempts at help. But no NPC's will appear on the gmap. They appear fine on non-gmap levels but besides that nothing will work. Weapons work and classes work. Ibonic and Vulcan have tried but they have had no sucess. Also the levels are reading as not downloadable so I figure "OH! File Problem" Nope :/ Files are fine, Ibonic checked those out. We restarted the whole server and stuff alike.
Any Thoughts?

Save everything to folder on your computer. Then, try removing your name.gmap file, gmap levels, and removing the line from server options (gmaps=,name,)

Add them in the correct order.

Correct order is as follows:

- Add the name.gmap file into your levels/ folder. From experiences, the gmap seems to only work when in the levels folder, not anything like levels/Overworld.

- Then add the line back into your server options (Notice the commas on both sides of the filename and no extension .gmap).

- Then upload your gmap levels into any folder within your levels folder.
-Restart Gserver

If it doesnt work, im afraid i don't know what your problem is, sorry. :(

You can put things in your processor? :confused:

I've worked on many playerworlds. Many of which had "level/ow/" or "level/overworld/" etc. You just have to set everything up right.

Hrm, i couldnt get it to work for subfolders when i first created mine, around last year sometime. Warping,levels actually being connected, ect would'nt work.


But anyway, Angel_Light, here's an example of how your Folder Configuration should look like, when your using a GMAP. The following lines should be in yours somewhere.

level levels/*.gmap
level levels/*.nw
level *.gmap
file *.gmap

I have mine like that and it works perfectly, so i would try the things ive stated, you just may get lucky. :)

I would think you would need "FILE levels/*.gmap".

How do I restart the gserver ._.

Go to your Playerworld ADCP here: www.graalonline.com/adminpanel

Login with your Admin-Playerworld## account, and the password associated with it.

Then click, 'PlayerWorld Server Management'. Once you click that, look to the far right, and click 'Game'. After you click it and the page finishes loading, click 'Restart' and just confirm your action.

Not sure if you are aware, but the folder configuration is already relative to levels;
... is invalid, unless you are using a folder called levels/levels/.

Which I think is stupid =(.

Not at all. There is no reason for anything not relative to levels/ being accessible by users.

i ment levels/levels/* is stupid =o.. atleast I think I did when I posted it?
