Hi,

Just a suggestion for anyone who's got their playerworld/guild website hosted by account "Rufus". You should change your nameservers immediatly. Whomever registered on your site may have used their GraalOnline account password, and Rufus now has access to those passwords via MySQL most likely. Im pretty sure there's ways to decode passwords as such, so that's a suggestion. Rufus has just made it clear he's against GraalOnline via various threads.

It may or may not be Rufus himself, but his account is compromised, and so just be safe and secure.

I decided for myself there's a 50% chance it is him, and the other 50% it isnt. Better safe than sorry.

Either way, you might not want to have him hosting it.
I was thinking of letting him host DR's. Good thing, I guess, that I haven't.

It isn't him. Sadly this isn't the first time he has fallen for a phishing scheme.

I use MD5 for passwords on my websites and also have a notice not to use the Graal password. ^^

lol, My p/w is to crazy not even I can memorize and I've had it for a long time :P

excaliber7388 09-01-2006 10:42 PM

I have both acct passwords memorized :p (excal and admin)
I remember this one from a long time ago (back when you could pick your own). :p

I think guild and/or playerworld websites shouldnt be allowed to be posted/promoted via GraalOnline Communication Center unless theirs a clear notice warning players to not use their password associated with GraalOnline. ^^

Anyway, using the generated password you recieve after registering an account is better and more safe. There's a nifty "Remember me" box oyu can check off. ^^

Yeah, but I think it was easier back then. I never did it, this was a shared account :( (Hey, I got rid of it, don't worry, I had the owner change the password, etc).

This is claim is false, that is the last time I offer something out of generosity.

That was NOT Rufus on his account when those posts/threads were made.
