Shuting npc server
I shut down the npc server just to test some old pre npc server scripts online
and noticed none of the npc on levels even show up. So is it impossiple to run old school server like that with curent graalversion, with just level npcs and no npc server? Just out of curiosity. |
On which server? Is the npcserver not starting or you just don't see the npcs? Normally most npcs should at least show up, although some might not work (not move). You should also see a file logs/syntaxerrors.txt

I think he wants to know if there can be NPCs without an NPC server.
I believe the answer is no. |

Playerworld29.
I ment npc not apearing (not even the images) while npc server is down. I guess its not possiple anymore. Anyhow, now I have a new proplem since after I turned the npc server on again the GS2 scripts seem not to work at all. I remeber there was a post here that explained how you can check if your server supports GS2 from when it was new, but I cant find it. Help? |
Usually you find a file logs/syntaxerrors.txt if there is the new scripting engine, or you just try to do a fake weapon script, you will get lots of errors with the new scripting engine since it is reporting syntax errors.

Ok the GS2 engine is definetly not on.
I tried contacting the support center about it but I cant register there cause the confirmation email isnt sent. :\ Must be busy with whatever they are fixing there now since it was down earlier today. Guess I just have to wait. :frown: |

Check your Spam/Bulk mail folder, but if you do not see the confirmation e-mail, then try creating a new Support account. |

Ok, well forum pm Ibonic and he might be able to activate your account manually. Then you'll be able to create your ticket (s).
