Alright, I just played Graal for the first time since the Photon Cannon was released...Finally got to fight people with it, and fight people using it. Now I see what you guys meant. 5 bullets were gettin me to 8 hp...I think there should be an experience needed to use the weapon, kinda like how there is an exp needed to use the Plasma Sabre.

I think the Photon Cannon should go something like this;

Name: Photon Cannon
'S' Damage: 22 Damage per bullet
'S' Speed: 15 tiles per second
'S' Freeze time (for shooter): 0.63 seconds
'S' Freeze time (when shot): 0.57 seconds
'S' Clip: 15 shots
'D' Damage: 70 Damage per bullet
'D' Speed: 13 tiles per second
'D' Freeze time (for shooter): 0.72 seconds
'D' Freeze time (when shot): 0.65 seconds
'D' Clip: 1 shot
Ammo Type: Plasma
Other: 90,000 experience (General Rank) needed to use the weapon.

Only problem with your idea... As long as a weapon has a damage over 20, its a 5 hit kill. And with a rapid fire gun, a 5 hit kill is FAR to powerful...

if u do make it to where u got to be a General rank to use, then wat would ppl do if they DONT have 90,000 exp, but DOES have the Photon Cannon?
would they just keep it and not be able to use it? or u guys take it away, and they have to work for it all over again. neother way, the ppl that bought it, spent 18k, i think theyll be pretty pissed wen they find out they spent all that money and cant use it

No one who has it is in that situation. As last I checked, 11 people had it and we all are general or higher.

I odn't like the photon cannon. my overwiew that no one has to pay attention to. While it is overpowered the big blast doesn't hit very wide so its hard to use that and the small plasma bullets are a little strong and fast but a good redrifler can usually take me out. Its freeze time doesn't bother me Ive never found it to be a problem. I think they should fix the ganis and stuff and bring it back out as a new version then give the new and old version for everyone to use for maybe 3 days? The players vote which one is best and they can play with the versions and the winner will b the bought for 18k and it will give trials a taste of what a p2p weapns like :) But go ahead and ignore me my comments aren't important :)

I am a marshal I have it but I agree with sayain it is a tad overpowered the reason i say tad is because my elglsh grandmother is in the room WOW!

Red rifle does 18 damage. Not 20+.

It is still overpowered. There are some guns where you just shouldn't be able to run, strafe, and shoot at the same time with.

Crono no offense but its just a really easy laming weapon. Its like a chiaingnu that doens't have to stop. I think its just a stupid weapon and almost wish I hadn't bought it but hey thats just me! :)

Photon cannon is very over-powered. Besides using a powerful gun, such as apprippers, they are near impossible to beat no matter who is using the gun. Reduce all rifle damages by 5 damage and 3 tiles/a second, this includes buyable and non-buyable rifles.

Also 90,000 exp? Your just using that so you can be one the few who can use it.

90,000 exp is nothing. i've got 340+ thousand exp...Dr.Drizzle was able to get 90k exp in 3 weeks or so. It's not hard to get 90,000 exp.

Doesn't matter. A lame weapon is lame even if only one person can use it.

Then I want appirces and aprippers to be 600k+ to use them. Not fair now is it? The bottom line is photon cannon is lame. It will most likely get nerfed until those of you that bought it, cry.

It already was its down from 24 damage to 22

I only have like 76k EXP and I started Zone before you nooblets even knew what Graal was. Then again I had trial for quite some time so...

I would be fine with 19 damage, and RR being lowered also, so it takes 6 bullets for a kill.

have u ever heard of cause and effect? i say if u want it to go down to 19 dmg per hit, then id like the enhanced pulsar to be deleted. as long as u do that, ill be happy cause near the only way to kill them is to wait for them to run out of energy, wen he reloads, or we he is laming som1 else.

No, because enhanced pulsar is on a slow class. Aside from commander which it does need to be removed from. And that is not cause and effect, cause and effect is where if I kicked you in the crotch, you would dislike me.

ORLY?! lol...me n jar are 1/1 in apps kills...even though were both pretty rusty (and i lag all the time whenever i play now :confused: ) we still can kill people, like you ;)

on topic though, im happy with the photon cannon staying the way it is now...its pretty fast, and does decent damage for 18k. its fine as is

why are u having a spasm about the power typh? its just like arippers, but in a plasma rifle form, and u got to pay for it

if i had the chice to change the price on it i'd prob make it 40k senice its power or make it a event item and let the ppl who got it keep it

It's still overpowered. The kickback needs to be at least doubled, then you can bump the dmg up to anything under 25.

i like the idea. so would everybody keep the rifle and everybody else that wants it pays 40k, or go the good way and make it to where everybody gets a full refund and gets to keep the money they made up till now but they loose the rifle. Any other way is good for me cause i can still kill pretty well with smg, but im afraid that other ppl would be pissed off about it.

I've seen people with over 200,000 money. 18,000 is nothing for some people. Others, its a little hard but not impossible.

Photon cannon:
-Very fast, basically if you are strafing, 1 hit kills the opponent because of the freeze time it gives your character.
-Super Powerful, it does around 20, maybe more. 5 hits of this gun and a p2p is dead. only 5 hits, the gun is very fast.
-Price, the price is high but the gun is better then any other gun in the game. Its only 18,000, not 50,000 like you guys are comparing it up to be.
