Photon Cannon released
 

The photon cannon is available in shops now, it costs 18k. It works similar to the red/blue rifle, one mode for fast shots and one for charging a more powerful shot. If you think it is too weak or not powerful enough then please tell me, it can easily be adjusted.

The photon cannon and blaster have also been added to the the stats.

Red Rifle and Blue Rifle cost 4k and 3.5k, respectivley. Red Rifle does 4 more damage than Blue Rifle, and only costs 500 more. Photon cannon, on the other hand, does 5 more than Red Rifle, yet costs 14k more?

yeah!! the new weapon is only 18k isn't very much since i can get about 5k a day

If you'd all be idiots like me and not ever use med kits then you'd have enough money. The pc is awsome but it causes me to lag... a lot. most other weapons don't do that to me.

Hah. My sekcist weapon has finally been added. And at 18k lol. It's a pretty nice weapon, considering it costs 18k. It does 24 dmg with 'S' button, but im not sure how much on the 'D' button. Nice to see it added. I wanted to see it in-game before I left. The GANI's look kind of screwy though. :frown:

No offence to whoever did the GANI(s).

Also, when you equip it, you turn invisable until you move. For some odd reason. Maybe fix that? :D

No, 18k is not too much. The weapon isnt meant for everyone to have. In order to have it, you must earn it. Also, 5 extra damage is alot. I would have liked to see the Photon Cannon do 25 damage. But 24 damage isnt bad either. 4 bullets will kill a trial. 5 will kill a P2P. Thats why its 18k.

Maybe I should re-size it to make it look better under the 'S' and 'D' buttons? It looks kind of weird right now. I cant do it tonight, unfortunatly. I have to wake up at 5 o clock tomarrow morning, and be at rese's house at 5:30. So Im going to try to get as much sleep as possable. If, after school tomarrow, Im not up to anything, I will certainly take time out to re-do those buttons. It looks pretty weird.

But I think I did a good job on the Gfx, and Vulcan (or Huwajux) did an alright job on the GANI...I dont care to much for the GANI :frown:

But, just so you dont forget Stefan (if you read this), when you equip the Photon Cannon, your character turns invisable until you move. Also, maybe have it say "Killed by Photon Cannon" instead of "Killed by Photon" (see screen shot)

Also, you should be making more than 5k a day. I only play for a couple of hours and I make around 4-6k per day. That's only about 2-3 hours worth of work on Alpha. If you cant get that, you need more practice.

I don't like ohw the d blast diagonal can go right on someones head but not hurt them. It kinda stupid. If you get shot in the head you die and if this is graal shouldn't getting shot in the head count as some of the damage the d blast does? Oh and on iricia why is there a big white spot around the d blast?

It's a bit overpowered. It has range and power, and the speed isn't too bad either. At least add more kickback.

you gotta remember, it cost 18k, not 5k or w/e the blue rifle/red rifle costs. for 18k you'd better have a good powered/good ranged/good speed kinda weapon :p

Killing each other with giant beam cannons isn't exactly ethical to begin with, so it's fairly obvious I wasn't talking about the photon cannon to begin with. :p

Gani's need fixing. Wasn't me who ganied them. Looks like chaingun gani, replaced with the sprite, nothing wrong with that. But the hands are behind the gun on the right side. I'll fix all that later.

How do you make that much money? I get a ton of kills when im on, and im only on a couple hours a day, but the problem is the bountys i get are never high enough :(

Bahamutstevetff has 260k or so, does that mean he should get a 260k, 1 hit kill, automatic shotgun? No. It doesn't matter how much money it cost, it's overpowered. The redrifle was straddling the line of rifle, and weapon of mass laming. This photon cannon is EXTREMELY overpowered...

If you play CTF, make it a point to get the flag as quickly as possible, as many times as possible. You'll make more money, but you'll probably die more often due to the amount of lameage that goes on on that planet. But oh well.

If I am trying to get a lot of money I don't buy meds or anything. It genreally works. I played for 30 to 45 minutes last night and made 1.5k with rr kills. IT doesn' t matter wether someone has a high bounty just kill everyone :)
