Searching

The weapons window of the rc should have a search function for lines in a script. For example, I could find every script that has "setlevel2" in it. It would make fixing npcs much easier.

Copy Script > Open NotePad > Paste Script into NotePad > ctrl+F > Enter whatever your searching for, and click enter.

^^

Uhm, why go trough all that trouble?

Open Script > Ctrl + F > Enter whatever your searching for, and click enter.

And I belive Excaliber was talking about a search function in the WEAPONS LIST. i.e. Open Weapon List > Ctrl + F > Type "player.chat =" and press enter > scans through ALL weapons for that text

Exactly, so I'd be able to find all weapons with a certain command or line of text, etc. You know when you find a bug, but don't know what weapon is causing it? Why delete every weapon one at a time on player, when you can just search for it on the weapons list?

Sorry, my mistake. Thought you meant just a single script.

This would be very usefull. :)

I thought he meant a single script also, but he means ALL scripts in the database.
