Anyone who has played gunbound knows what this bot is. I'm an extreme noob @ 3D modeling but this is my first like, model done from scratch.

I do realize some parts are really off, but meh. :x

Draenin 07-31-2006 12:58 PM

Hahaha. That's actually pretty good.

You can do 3-dimensional design, yet you don't do gfx. What the crap, dude. >_<

Zero Hour 07-31-2006 01:16 PM

That's fun :)

killerogue 07-31-2006 04:02 PM

Really nice Crono. XP You do 3d pretty much better than me.

Tom 07-31-2006 08:47 PM

Hehe. First time done by scratch. I've done maybe 3-4 other stupid little models but only using tutorials and stuff. I made some ugly tank before but it was like a giant square and messed up, posted it here years ago.

Modeling little gunbound bots should help me gain some 3D modeling skills. Gonna do another one soon I guess. :)

Can you color and render him? I want to see him colored and rendered!

MisterMastermind 08-01-2006 09:00 AM

Sexy.

Rapidwolve 08-01-2006 09:09 AM

3D Modeling is hard x_x

Draenin 08-01-2006 09:22 AM

Not if you know how to do it.

Crono 08-01-2006 02:06 PM

No idea how to texture and stuff, I can render something but it wouldn't really look much better. :(

Alright, sorry for double post but I got it smoothed out. :o

It looks cool, but the wheels look really weird

Yeah I should fix them. If you look at the original the little box the wheels are on are supposed to be pushed into the body more but i'm too lazy to do that now. Will fix it up later.

killerogue 08-03-2006 12:30 AM

Pfft. 3D Modeling isn't hard if you undrestand the program and read a few tutorials that cover all the basics. Example I can subdivide and image about 4 times and make a ray gun. :D

How many hours/minute it took you?

I forget. Maybe an hour or two? x_x

zephirot 08-03-2006 12:58 AM

It looks fine, just fix the wheels :)

Redwizard 08-03-2006 01:30 AM

its very low poly, but it looks ok. with a decent light source, and good texturing, you may be able to make it look good.
