Intel Mac Graal Support?
 

I was thinking... I've heard that there wasn't any support (currently) for Mac Graal Version for Mac Intel (even though Mac has stopped producing with PowerPC ).

I was wondering of how the company supports this.

Is Graal going to follow through and make an Intel Version? If not... Would the Windows version work on Boot Camp?

If not... Would the Graal Linux version be able to be installed on the Mac Intel, taken into consideration the simularities in the OS?

Do we have any other options that wouldn't lag due to it being emulated?

I believe it will be ported over ... Stefan said that he's been waiting for the intel macs so he could start making us the dev tools we need. So I imagine he will also make a client ... Doesn't the Power PC one work though?

We currently don't have access to an Intel Mac, but if there are enough people requesting such a version then we could do it, it shouldn't require a lot of modifications to the code.
Currently you can run the Power PC version, but it might be slow.

I imagine once Leopard comes out more people will switch to the Intel version of Macs. Until then you could use Boot Camp. Then you'd also get dev tools.

Intel Macs would have to run Graal in Rosetta PowerPC emulation, which is not exactly speedy for things like Graal.

It's an inconvenience. I wouldn't even think of sparring :(
