The Cursed Captain
 

Mates, a terrible curse is upon us. Lately at night there has been a ghost ship circulating our seas. Last night, in an attempt to figure out what the ghosts wanted and to put a stop to them, our Captain Eric Steele sailed out to meet them but failed and was captured by the ghostly crew. These ghouls have cast a spell over him and he is now under their control. They have placed this malady over him by placing a spell binded helmet on his head. Alas, the Captain is not himself and is intent on destroying CP. The cursed captain is gathering a ghostly crew with which to strike CP, although I know not when. Nevertheless, ye best brush up on yer sea battling skills. When he attacks will be our perfect opportunity to rid him of the curse. We must attempt to get close enough to him to remove the helmet. Only then will he become one of us again, and then together with the Captain we will smite the ghostly crew. We must take heed, however, when we do strike back, not to sink the Captain's ship, even if he may be hostile towards us. We want our captain alive.

Remember mates, the attack by the ghostly crew may come at any time, so be prepared.

The cursed captain caught is unprepared today. He attacked our waters and a lone pirate, Kri, set out to challenge it. Strangely, however, the ghost disappeared right in the middle of the battle, his ship losing its ghostly glow and crashing on the peninsula north of Milton. Upon further investigation of the ship, nothing was found and the ship was sunk. We are sure, however, that there is more danger to come. Next time the ghost pirate will come more prepared and with greater force.
