I took everyones advice on animals and tried a squirrel...

Cute...but not too good...he needs to have curves...it actually looks like hes flat and indented alot in places...try to give the squirrel some roundness with the colors you're using.

I wouldn't change a thing, as far as physical work. The only thing I would repair is the brightness; there's very little contrast.

Or a nice red.

Gray was my choice because i saw a squirrel outside that happened to be gray...I live in the woods.

Most squirrels I've seen are gray... I don't know why you'd think they'd be red or brown... you're thinking of chipmunks maybe. Most are gray and sometimes have a bit of brown coloring mixed in... but not chocolate brown or anything...

Anyway, I'm too lazy to recolor all of the frames but I did one to show you how I'd color it. The outline is nice, if not a little too pixely.

Forest squirrells are a redy brown in some countries.

Well my area is a developed swamp, and we have black...red...gray...and brown squirrels.

Ooh, I've only seen redish brown ones.
