Appirces/ApRipper V2
 

Ok, I had an idea for scraping Bluepistols and Redpistols. I thought about it, how pathetic is that, having two identical pistols and calling them event weapons. OOO they shoot plasma, whats so special about them, they look pretty ugly to be honest.

Scrap both of them, BUT for those who have them, give them this new ability.
While having appirces/apripper equipted, hit a different key (possibly F), your character will add a new part to the gun, this process will take about a second. They now become bluepistols/redpistols except they are called, Appirces V2, ApRipper V2 and look similar to the normal appirces and apripper.

This may even out how strong the event weapons are. You can only use Appirces V2, and ApRipper V2 if the class you have has the normal Appirces and ApRipper.

This could be the start to new ideas such as powerups. I beleive Raphion (spelling mistake) made several power up ideas. Anyone like this idea?

That sounds good. but probally 1. change the color of the weapon coresponding to the upgrade, 2. Maybe you could buy a similar but powered done upgrade, and 3. What ammo will it use?

1. Maybe not change the colour, the point of changing them is that we don't want a rainbow coloured game...
2. Yeah, this would be cool, for more guns as well. But they would need to be expensive.
3. Same ammo as Appirces and ApRipper.

well, If it did knock out the redpistols and the bluepistols they could use these or you could recolor them grey if you don't want a "Rainbow" game

Yeah those look kool. But I was thinking something grey.

From what I've seen redpistoles and bluepistoles are the exact same pistoles and would look more like the exact same pistoles if they shot the same bullets. (I don't mean plasma) It seems that the event pistoles have maybe 4 more ammo per clip and shoot just a small bit faster, otherwise they're the exact same as aprippers.

If you could silence and increase bullet speed of weapons via attachments it'd make Zone a hell of alot more fun.
