He is from CANADA. Making it the CANADIAN way of spelling it for this post.

Anyways, Canadian spelling and British spelling are the same. Back in the day Canada was a subcolony of Britain or some crap like that. But we broke away (hence Canada's independance day, I believe) so we are cool now.
