Lights?

Ive been trying to make a light effect GFX (similar to light3.png), but, I have no good idea on HOW to make lights. So, I would really appriciate if anyone could make a steb-by-step tutorial (from anyone but VICTOR! ;) )

Or, atleast tell me how it should be done! :o

I've just made that light...

Black is the transparent color if you use a light.
And White is...the light :)
A simple thing

If you combine effects you can create original pieces. Besides, it's really about the application.

Done in Fireworks 8. Just used the circle and line tools, and filled them with gradients.
Lights aren't hard at all.

Right, Theres two parts to a light in Graal.
Theres the graphic, and theres the script.
When making the light graphic you need to understand which colour is the transparent colour and which is the solid (the colour which will appear but translucent).
Black is the transparent, and white is the solid. It can include grays, remembering that the lighter the gray, the less transparent.
Creating lighteffects, you can use any colours, but i highly recommend at the end that you convert the image to a grayscale, unless you plan on making it have multiple colours, in which case i suggest layers. I shall post a tutorial on how to create light effects, ranging from monitors on modern servers with several colours, to lights from streetlamps, and lights which require beams. Bare with me.
