libgdk-quartz-2.0.0 Mac RC latest

I am trying to get the latest developmental version of the Mac RC to work (well, spent over two hours trying), but I am having more problems than I can figure out.

When starting the program, it immediately crashes, leaving the following in it's crash log:
Quote:

Host Name: Midnight
Date/Time: 2006-06-11 16:22:22.774 +0100
OS Version: 10.4.6 (Build 8I127)
Report Version: 4

Command: RC
Path: /Users/Neil/RC/RC.app/Contents/MacOS/RC
Parent: WindowServer [61]

Version: ©2005 Linux Cyberjoueurs (0.6.1d1)

PID: 12099
Thread: Unknown

Link (dyld) error:

Library not loaded: /usr/local/lib/libgdk-quartz-2.0.0.dylib
Referenced from: /Users/Neil/RC/RC.app/Contents/MacOS/RC
Reason: image not found
In hope that I could fix the problem, I installed fink, and then followed the instructions at http://developer.imendio.com/wiki/Gt...ding_with_fink. I ran into even more problems, and ended up updating my libiconv to version 1.10.

Having done so, I finally got gtk+2-native and gtk+2-native-dev to install, however, I am still missing /usr/local/lib/libgdk-quartz-2.0.0.dylib. It isn't in any other lib folders that I can possibly think of.

Why don't I have this file, and where abouts does this library come from? A Google search is completely inconclusive on the matter.

Edit: After running sudo find / -name "*gdk*quartz*" -print, I found:
Quote:

/sw/lib/gtk-native/lib/libgdk-quartz-2.0.0.900.0.dylib
/sw/lib/gtk-native/lib/libgdk-quartz-2.0.0.dylib
/sw/lib/gtk-native/lib/libgdk-quartz-2.0.a
/sw/lib/gtk-native/lib/libgdk-quartz-2.0.dylib
/sw/lib/gtk-native/lib/libgdk-quartz-2.0.la
/sw/lib/gtk-native/lib/pkgconfig/gdk-quartz-2.0.pc
I tried using symbolic links to link to some of these dylib files from /usr/local/lib, but then I got these crash log errors:

Stefan, could you post the exact details of what you installed (URLs if possible, version numbers, packages etc)?

Um it's not a big problem, will need to statically link it somehow. I don't suggest compiling those libraries, can take some weeks to figure everything out :D
Also I had to fix some stuff, so it would crash anyway.

I figured it was a problem with my environment. Props for having a new RC compiled though; how long will it be before we see it statically linked up?

I said I can do it sometime this week (or weekend), it will not take more than a few minutes. I will also need to fix the problem with crashing on scrolling.
