level 107 scrolls

Its been known for quite some time that level 107 scrolls get your mental up, but its really more like cheating the system.

With the part system in mind, only 8 levels difference get you exp, I would imagine if you were more then 8 levels higher or lower, a scroll wouldnt give you the exp, but it would still work. This atleast makes some sense because of the fact your not actually doing any more work then reading a scroll. But perhaps instead of no exp, maybe it would be best to give the exp of a standard scroll you might find in a shop that is like that.

This fix would be able to fix some of the rather simple and dumb bug abuse or things of this type. **Some people dont call it a bug, but it really should be.

Dayaa, you have to write several thousand of them in order to get to where you can do Dust of Visbility.

Yes thats not the point though.

The decent experience stops at around level 20 for scrolls, just like with every other area. Then you have to switch to doing something else that gives more. For mental, it's DoV. For Physical / Magic / Prayers, it's Brutals. Same concept. See how long it takes you to get to level 20 mental or so without reading stuff and you'll see what I mean.

So there should be no benefits for people that take the time to level to 107 in a certain area?

Hell, I'm not even benefitting. While everyone else is charging for writing scrolls, I do it for free.

the *ability* is the benefit.

Yeah, I guess so. Funny thing is, though, that I don't really benefit from it. Others do.
