Okay, If you don't know, I've made a computer for DR. Now, I know ideas like this have failed in the past, :rolleyes: but I've made my own for this as well, and I'm currently working on a larger one.
Anyway, I need games. I've posted some guidelines here:

You will receive FULL credit, your name will be all over it, the button to enter the game (space permitting) and on the window of the game, also, credits can be added. You also receive quite a few benefits, as described on the first site off of the DR forums. I'd be more than happy to up them too, for a good game. So if you have any minigames lying around, or if you'd like to make one, we accept GS1 and GS2, but we MUCH prefer GS2 games, also it has to fit in the screen provided. Also, and X/y coordinates should be done with screenwidth/height and be consistant. Having the boundries of the window defined isn't a bad idea either. So if you're bored, want some recognition, feel free to help out. THANKS!

Its a unique idea, for this reason you stated above, he has made his server more unique then most. Not making them stand alone, and not making them 100% Free, gives the server a diffrent element.

By the same token why didnt Era make telephones stand alone the first time around? (Assuming the Cell Phone idea was never completed/dosent exist).

No, that is suggesting that through everything everyone has said about his server, through all the years hard work and sleepless nights, he is still at it.

The only thing I will end up being able to use from NW is the bakery graphics, some little housing graphics (like books and candles) and the baisis for the sprites (which btw, have to be completely redrawn and are only being used as a reference now)

The rest we have worked very very hard to make, please do not insult my server. I have made no effort to insult excalibur or his PW. I admire him for trying, and hope he can get something out that people will enjoy. Thats all any of us who make PW's want. So again, please do not try and insult me.

Also, working with highly talented individuals? I am one of two people working on Mana Realms. I do everything except Graphics, which is done by my friend Oladahn. That is it. When you see Mana Realms.. know that I scripted every single bit of it myself with no help. Stefan has done nothing for me except get layers started (not even finished!) And he has taken so long to get them done that we can't even use them now unless we want to wait around. Stefan does not help me. My help I get from the Wiki or from the #gscript chat.. both are VERY public. I have worked very hard for what I have and what I know, so do not try and belittle my hard work.

I didnt want this to degrade into nitpicking in every thread, so im going to be the bigger man here right off the bat and apologize, but still continue to question and provoke you, because if no one does, then how do you know if you are doing something wrong.

I dont know if you redid it yourself but you said you will be using the bombs as well.

I did not insult your server, in any way. I simply just noted that you are using content from New World, and that you have closer contacts to people who could help you should you need it (This is from your own words of text, not mine).

What happened to Er1c? Honestly, I respect him for what he can do, and I would regard him as a highly talented scripter (As far as I know), you said you were working with him.

I remember once you said Stefan gave you tile layers completed, and you were upset about someone else maybe using them.

Sorry if it seemed that way, but I am trying to be fair to everyone. You dont make any qualms about speaking up about everyone you talk to or interact with on a daily (or somewhat regular) basis. The list of names you speak of are quite amazing at times, so its only natural to assume they would help you if you needed some, right?

It isn't unique; It's been thought of many times before, all I have to say. Sounds cool and ignorant at the same time but good luck.

The last I checked, on Kingdoms Debug, the tile thing was completed, since it's uploaded there, which I have seen in NPC-Control. I know a few months ago Stefan worked on it a lot and completed it, since he said he completed it.

Anyway, I'm currently getting all the bugs out (small ones) Then I plan to add a calculator, notepad, other buy-able accessories, media options, like watching movies, listing to your own MP3s, the DR radio, URLs, or bought in-game songs. I plan to allow other people to develope for it, so it's not all me. So now you can submit applications, movies (.gif with a .wav file is fine, I'll write all the guidlines somewhere else), songs, etc. You will receive full credit, I just want this to be more usefull right away. Thanks ^^

Wrong, that NPC was from when he first started working on Layers.

We have talked about things, and he has layers working much better now but they still always draw beneath the players, and act still a little bit funny on GMAPS.

As I said, he started them but they are not really 100% usable yet.

Some updates, images, etc:
Well, if you don't know, I have a computer made on Dark Rival.
It allows players to do a lot of things, all in game.
It has email (using the players account), internet, chat, games, programs, music, movies (when we get flash supported), access to the markets, news, history, calculator, and even more.
But anyway, I decided it would be cool to release new games and programs constantly, alling some for purchace, download, or automatically update, depending on the program. But since I can't come up with a ton of program ideas, and I can't script as fast as I would need to, I've decided to enlist the help of the players. You can even ask us for ideas if you cannot come up with your own.

There's a lot of benefits to putting a program or game on the DR Computer:
1) Money on the server, you get paid for putting it on
2) You can receive other rewards, depending on how good your program or game is. If it is good, you will get the DR Computer free, as well as your program or game.
3) Recognition, your name will be posted on the button that is used to start the program/game, and you may put it in your game/program.
4) Fun, if you like scripting, this is a great way to have fun scripting, and get to see your scripts put in action!


So, what are the requirements?
1. If there are gui windows, backrounds, or images for the program/game, it must fit within 580 pixels wide, 300 pixles tall
2. It should be in gs2, gs1 is accepted, but you won't receive as many rewards
3. No stolen scripts! The creator of the script is the owner, and it cannot be uploaded withour the owner's permission
4. I don't know what your stle may be, but if the program or game is within a loop, it should work with a timeout loop with a .05 second delay. It should also have a flag to set whether or not the game continues, so a timeout could continue for the computer, without the game
5. Submit a working script, should work with a weaponfired flag for testing.
6. These requirements may be updated, please PMm Excalibur for additional information, updates, ideas, or if your script could be considered.

You will receive FULL credit for this, ask Irata ;-) He created the game 1945 which you can play on the DR Computer. A pic is below.

Also, know that once uploaded, you will still have a say on whether or not the script can stay, however after you upload material to a server, it becomes property of graalonline, and the server it is uploaded on. Because of this, you have no real authority over it. However, we will respect your wishes, and if it is possible, it will be removed, as well as any rewards or credit you recieved for it. People will probably be pissed at you too =P

Best work I've seen from you in a while.

Actually, the only good work I've ever seen from you. But, in all honesty, I haven't seen your server since maybe a year ago.

I'm making it look better now, function better as well.
I will allow multitasking, more windows to be open at a time, more streamlined controls, more options, more customizability, such as players using their own personal desktops. It's still got a lot of bugs, but I'm working them out. I also have to rescrtipt the guis for the functions. Should take too long. ;)

About making your window container and restricting windows to your screen:
... creates a container which you can keep objects in.

Now, if you created a window:
... and then used:
... then the window becomes bound to the container control. That means you can move it, resize it, maximize and minimize it only inside of the container control.

Just a few features that have been fixed

I am assuming you can drag the internet explorer window out of the laptop's screen, maybe you should try and script your own little HTML-viewer control, would probably look better.

If I could I'm not sure gscript supports this, if I'm worng tell me, but I was hoping to create my own browser when I started this but was unable to figure out how.
All of the functions have been updated now, and the new comp has been released. You can now multi task, and there are many options, from the desktop image, to how the windows act. (parents windows closing when child window is opened for example)

This wouldn't be an easy feat to do. You could use the RequestHTTP function, or whatever it's called, and manually parse it and display the website. Either that or you could ask Stefan nicely to incorporate a nice HTML control where you can either input the HTML or address into it.
