No channel IRC chat
 

I'd like to do this on my server, to allow people to join a chat by invite only. How would I go about doing this? (Not the invite part, just the creation of the chat, I think I have the invite part down, if this is possible)

Also, how would I open the IRC chat window by script automatically?

If you are not in a channel, you can send private messages to users, but nothing else. Inviting is not possible.
Also, not sure if this is possible yet.

Okay, I just thought of another way to do it anyway, however, If DR becomes widely popular, it could mean a lot of people using the IR chat for IMing. Is it possible to make a channel invisable to people who are not on a list?
Maybe this should be in the future improvements thread x_x

I will see if I can persuade Stefan to give me access to the IRC 'server' script for me to add channel modes, or if not, get him to add some.

Not just modes, but that the window opens up to a specific x/y/width/height when the player joins the channel through script.

Uh, why? If you are that concerned about having a specific chat client, script your own. The IRC stuff works just the same on the clientside, so mix it with some gui controls. There is not much point in modifying the serverlist like that.
