Classic: Sorry for Delay on Quest Release

My internet disappeared. I'm just using the library computer right now to get customer service numbers and stuff. It's a real pain.

Have you looked down the side of your bed

Sulukra 05-20-2006 09:26 PM

Tch, no. It'll be in his couch cushions. Thats where -everything- winds up.

But yeah, we're all waiting.

Bring back the pyramid quest! :[

He clearly just stated why....

maximus_asinus 05-27-2006 06:34 PM

I am willing to bet that he was behind on the quest and is lying so he can catch up during the 'down time'. He is even on MSN right now.

[EDIT]I made the initial post at 1 PM, and even now, at 7 PM he is still online, and according to my MSN log, he hasn't logged off between these two time periods. He either loves the library, or my suspicions were well founded, he hasn't done the required work. Too busy abusing rights eh?

jake13jake 05-28-2006 04:46 AM

No, I fixed my internet on Monday. Now you try working a thirteen hour day training people to work at an amusement park. Any half-decent scripter could have easily finished the quest for Friday night, but I don't have the assistance of another scripter. I'd do it tonight if I didn't of course have to wake up at six tomorrow. My apologies again.

You can always ask Storm to finish it, and he could confer with Exodus, who is the assistant in operations who knows all the things that need to be done with it (esp. dealing with the new warp ring system which could throw anyone off). Then Storm could talk to Nabru and other members of the FAQ team who I've had test it for a few minor glitches that they encountered that I haven't gotten around to fixing yet.

Could of had it done before, but you were too busy abusing rights. Think of a better excuse for not getting your work done, this one is way overused.

Finally. The stress of abusing your rights got to you? Now I just got to work on Storm, he has a cooler head, so it'll be a little more difficult.

Fine, I quit *****. Do it yourself. It's certainly not benefiting me in any way to be doing all of this work for whiney *****es.

You've come to the realization that many devs have and still are coming to, Massokre. While I can't think of any expletives that end with the letters "es" when in plural, I do wonder if you'll at least submit what is done to whoever will be succeeding you.

EDIT:

Nevermind about the expletive. Somebody showed me one.

hahahahhahha

But honestly I doubt that Massokre will quit, he doesn't have anything else to do. He'll use the time to catch up on the work he hasn't done and think of new ways to abuse his rights and come back next week.

Oh and don't get me wrong, if he actually quit, I am glad.
