Reset Poll

Please vote, but before you do, let me tell you this.
Even though high leveled people say they got there by them selfs with no alchemy or not, please think about that, how else would governor alan steele get up to level 110 in 4 weeks with killing Lords. He used to party bug. I dont know why he did this, I thought he was a good man with his levels, but I guess not. THank you all!

Nerfing > Resetting

Lylic 05-03-2006 05:44 PM

Way to make assumptions about things that you really have no idea about. You have no idea how Alan got his levels, and to pretend like you do is stupid. Quit pretending and quit wasting your and my time.

Plus, GK isn't going to reset even if every player wanted one.

Damix2 05-03-2006 06:03 PM

How about Yes or No. Why do people feel they need to add words to the options.

word

CidNight1142 05-03-2006 06:21 PM

4 weeks eh? Considering I know personally that it took Alan about 8 months to go from about level 97 to 110, I think you are quite the assumptious little prick. Where did you get that information, the deepest parts of your anal cavities?

MasterNuke 05-03-2006 06:52 PM

Eh... not like your word matters.

Craigus 05-03-2006 07:46 PM

The little new guy thats been around 5 mins cant kill everyone so RESET!

I went from level 24 mental to level 65 mental in one night. Know how I got there? By taking a road people percieve to be easy when it really isn't, most of the time.

Resetting will have no effect, after half a year it will be so like it is currently.

What needs to be changed instead is:
- more accesable eventitems with eventcoins
- higher levelcap, more things to do with high level (special dungeons, more maps and so on)
- maybe even higher stats, with more options, and removal of damn goldkeys

I thought a long time that a reset will change everything.. but seriously, i donot think it will.

Draenin 05-03-2006 09:24 PM

- Just make them craftable using event coins and other stuff.
- No to the higher level cap. But yes to the part about having more stuff to do. Like I've said, the experience spectrum needs to broaden a little bit.
- The stat system is dandy as it stands.

I am not going to vote for that reason exactly. I dont like the options.

Also add a Doesnt Matter choice, some people just dont care.

If you don't care then just don't vote.

anubis_wing 05-03-2006 10:26 PM

This is the same crises Maloria is going through. Give people time to realise what and why there should be a reset then coonsult with the players to find they're beliefs.

MadScience7 05-03-2006 10:29 PM

4 weeks? Took more like 4 years :) Actually I never heard about the party bug until I was over lvl 90 (I don't hang out in Bomb Trade and shoot the breeze about bugs). So I guess I earned lvl 110 the good old fashioned stupid way; lords and solo maps. I even missed out on the bats, when they gave exp (gained about half a level). I guess I did gain about 10 levels from DoV, over the course of my 2 1/2 years, that was a fun thing to discover in the pre-alchemy days.

ReBorn_Spirit 05-03-2006 10:39 PM

I still don't know what all the fuss is about, people like Alan worked pretty hard to get to where they are. Look at me, I've been playing 2 years now on this account and I'm still not over level 40. I'm the Queen to Forest even, you would think I would be higher leveled but I'm not.

Raziel 05-04-2006 12:13 AM

I introduced Alan to the party bug but he decided that he did not want to use it. That's just what kind of an honest guy he is. Lay off him.

ApothiX 05-04-2006 12:45 AM

A reset would be pointless. Especially if the reasons the people are such high levels are not 'fixed' (I put that in quotes because it is not actually a bug, it is just part of the diversity that Graal Kingdoms is, there is more than one way to level.)

ReBorn_Spirit 05-04-2006 01:16 AM

This is one of the many attempts for someone to get back at a high level that is just not to friendly to them I know because its only the 20th thread or so that I have seen at someoen trying to get GK reset. It's pointless, it would simple kill off all the good players that we allready have and then you'd have nothing but an empty shell. Nothing to do and nobody to fight. Your reset would level the entire economy and all the kingdoms. It would dismantle any hopes others have and then at last, everyone gone. Is that what you want? A dead GK? From the sounds of it, someone does. I certainly hope that you like Era and UN, which have resets after a year or two. UN has been reset.. what.. 3 times?? I dont even go there because its just so lame now. Same for Era, had decent things, now I have nothing, there isn't a point for me to play there. Maloria is just corrupted beyond attempt of repair so I dont bother with that either.

Someone needs to close these threads and bann the entire topic from the forums as its entirely pointless and unfair to those that have actually tried to level up.

ApothiX 05-04-2006 04:23 AM

No, someone needs to ban people who don't let others have opinions, and tell people their reasoning without any information. Are you psychic, Dayaa? Sometimes you sure act like it.

Calm down, you know damn well Bjoern and Stefan will not reset GK just because of a userpoll results.

Zero Hour 05-04-2006 04:49 AM

Personally - I don't care if the players who got to such high levels did it truthfully. I think the server should be reset. Howerver...

It shouldn't be reset until everything is completly changed. Different questions, different island layouts - so everyone starts out with equal knowledge.

We have a winner.

Faital_Ryu 05-04-2006 11:08 PM

I'm against the reset (changing the world of GK or leaving it the way it is) because I find it wrong to change the rules only a little bit after someone starts taking their first steps into an interesting game. And it's even more unfair to the people who have never even heard of GK. They'd never know about what GK was like before it was changed.

Waltz5 05-05-2006 05:27 AM

If the whole server was revamped and ready to go this would actually be a good time for a reset. Playercount is low, and honestly the majority of your higher level people are pretty bored.

ViCtOrEhEhEh 05-05-2006 05:38 AM

I personally think that many people would start playing GK (like me) if there was a reset. But if I was level 110 I doubt I would play again and those level 110s (or I can just say high level people) make up the community and if they left, it would just be noobs and GK would die. So its really a "I dont care" vote.

Wow, I agree, if people starat working on it now, they might be done in about 3 to 4 months, hmmm, weird, you got a good idea :D

Googi 05-05-2006 09:26 PM

Server resets do not work. I can't think of a single reset on an economic-based server that worked out. What 2K2 needs isn't a server reset, but a server renewal. Staff should stockpile big updates until they have enough to completely change the way we play 2K2. Then they should release one every week or so until all of them are out. Truly awful statistical and economic inequalities can be dealt with by nerfing and staff intentionally influencing the economy. A server reset would be hurtful.
