News Popup on Login Server

I think there should be extended preferences to server news.
Besides being able to close it... being able to open it!
And an option for it opening automatically on login, or opening every x amount of time or whenever there's an update.

Also, I'd like to be able to go back to the login server after logging in to be able to redownload things like the default gfx package for when I go to servers that like to overwrite them like NPulse and UN.

I like these idea's. I'd prefer that everytime the news is updated, the news window shall pop up.

I don't see these too hard to implement, they are good ideas.

Perhaps options like this:
  • Show news on update
  • Open on every logon
  • Do not open on logon
  • Open the news on logon, [___] hours after previous logon

Man.

You don't even report WHAT things are being over written. All I keep reading it, "N-PULSE AND UNHOLY NATION OVER WRITE THIS, FIX IT." Then when it is checked, it's not even like that.

Didn't think to reply to this before, but you can type "login" into the servername box and hit Enter, and you will return to the login server.

I haven't complained about UN, I usually don't stray away from Classic. I've just encountered that occuring in the past. I'm quite happy that NPulse's overwritten door.png was removed. Also, the emoticon thing with NPulse wasn't my complaint, I was just forwarding it. Sorry if it bothers you.

Don't apologize to him, I would be pissed too if some crappy PW like UN was overwritting default image files.
