Fairly new to GFX, Crits pls?
 

Hello everyone, my name is Sage...some of you may know me, some of you may not. I am fairly new to graphic design and have recently developed a passion for it. I just finished this image about 5 minutes ago, it took me about 20 minutes to make. Can I please have some constructive criticism on how to improve the image and further improve my skills? Mind you that the lineart and shading were both done in MsPaints. Thanks ^^

critism is important yea...i would make the blade thin
like 5-7 pixels or so...

For someones who just starting, thats so much better than what i've seen.

Not sure why but you have done a really grainy appearance which does'nt look right. You need to think of what your making, and what material its made of, for example, the blade of a katana would/could be a reflective shiny metal.

Not very good because i sorta rushed it, but you get the general idea. I didnt edit the outline at all ^_^

The lighting on that doesn't make any sense :P

Ide say just work on the shading for now, pretend its right infront of you, maybe draw a circle on the pic to start with or something, shading shapes it, not the outline

rofl plzzz, We need a new name for kids who call themselves Lats but arnt very good, Zz very few Lats on graal with talent...

But subject wise....Thats better than what I could do for sure.....I think lol....never rlly tried....but yea..you keep working on that for you can become a pixel slave one day for graal.

You'd think someone of your age and experience would know the meaning of respect. If he produces levels for a playerworld or used to then he is an LAT, regardless of his experience and talent.

I don't know if you noticed but Infernix isn't one of the 'mature' people on graal. He is a good LAT but beyond that, I wouldn't pay any attention to what he says.

I like his levels, but I dont like himself :|
