Choo choo!

Stefan, how about making a large train that can hold maybe 3-5 passengers and is controlled by a "Train Engineer"?

LordMax 07-04-2001 11:41 PM

yeah that would be cool but make like the train driver an npc that stops at scheduled stops and goes really fast

Darkspector 07-04-2001 11:58 PM

what would be cool is to be able to drive the trains and make money for ever one who you drive but you have to buy a train for 500g or somthing

Stefan said if trains went any faster, that it would be messed up because of load times and stuff, so when the trains in the next level other people might still be in the first one.

so we aren't going to get extra fast trains :( sosoad

LordMax 07-05-2001 01:07 AM

thats what i thought

Falcor 07-05-2001 08:15 AM

With the new attachplayertoobj command. ITs VERY posible but thi presents a problem when turning directions =\.. Acually you proly can move the player on a circular plain but It hink thats just a lil too in-depth just for a train =\. Be happy with your Draisine =D

Sjc2k1 07-05-2001 08:18 AM

just to let you know there will be trains in the near future

Make npc's so you can put coins on the tracks and watch them get flattened and sometimes they'll shoot out and if they hit someone it takes away .5 hearts.
