Changes To Zone
 

Ok well, I stoped to think about this... Zone sucked more since more weapons were added. Back when there was only a few well thought out weapons it was amazing. But since new weapons get added more ways for people to be noobs is added... And theres already enough noobs... Heres the things that need to be changed or taken out...
1. Bluepistols, Redpistols, Blue Rifle, Red Rifle, Handgun, laserforce, magnums, and Storm Rifle...
2. To be changed is the invisible mines... That is the most unfair type of weapons there is... Something that is a one hit kill (if your smart) that is almost impossible to detect unless you want to instantly die... You equip a grenade and mine detector... First you must blow up the mines (normally placed at B1 where there are 10 people shooting at you) then you need to make sure you run away fast enough while you are getting destroyed by 10 people...
3. The entire zone wars map... That map has to many problems with it, its almost better to just get rid of it...

Continue with making your maps, but add no weapons...

I agree here, except for Stormrifle, it's cool.

Zone Wars is going to be replaced by GW.

I think the more weapons, the more different styles of fighting people can use, which makes for better game play for more people. In the begining, there were only a max of 38 people, now that theres more weapons our max every weekend is about 76-84 players.

But the percentage of noobs has skyrocketed...

Ya...but everyone is a newb at one time, and a newb is someone new to something...so we give the 'newbs' the time to decide on weather to quit, or to upgrade :)

Describe *newb* is it someone who is lame or is it someone who abuses the wep?

I think that the more weapons the more fun people can have!!

I don't agree with this. First of all, its just a waste of a good map to get rid of it. However, I do agree that it needs changes.

1. If you're going to fix speeders, just switch them with the ones on Iricia.

2. Light side is just too fast. Either make the Mechs faster or the light side slower.

3. Beam. Seriously, just make it sap energy instead of health and allow it to all ranks, not just soldier and above.

3. It should just stun. If Light Side needs to team to destroy speeders Dark Side should be able to team to destroy people.

No! Not bluerifle! :( That's actually an original idea, it was based on a stronger SMG yet you had to buy it. What made it seem unoriginal was the smelly red rifle. All the other weapons (That you said) need to go...now.

Except they can't really get rid of the ones that they released with the christmas package without vast amounts of complaints happening because those people paid good money for those and other things.

In my opinion Zone was best right after Zone Wars was released. It went downhill after that.

Too many weapons added, Zone Wars changed for the worse, Deathmatch dominated events. Etc.

Exactly. BR is a good weapon, RR seems to be amazingly overpowered. RP and BP should just get new names, and maybe different GFX. Neither of them are as powerful, in the right hands, as appirces.

What's a RP but a faster version of the Ap-Ripper? What is the Bp but the same thing as the RP. You can't keep putting out weapons that do the same thing and say it adds more stradegy to the game.

In my opinion we need some more support items; Shields, Steriods etc.

Zone Wars used to pwnz0rz everything else.

But, the most obvious thing that caused its ultimate demise:

Event Weapons.

How retarded it is to make Event weapons not able to be deflcted was just dumb. It caused massive amounts of laming, and, I'll admit, I contributed to much of that with my Red Pistols.

Also, you can take away my RPs, but I want a custom weapon that has 100 auto-regen. ammo (Like LR Pulsar), does 1 damage per bullet, gives no damage freeze, and also shoots twice as fast as a chaingun. Also, it should shoot within a 5 degree cone of the barrel of the gun.

Yeah, and give me a RPT (Rocket Propelled Troll) launcher so I can kill people with utter abrasiveness then laugh at thin air as their corpse magically evaporates.

And change the name of Zone to Guerilla Warfare and give us all spiffy capes with long bushy hair and i'm fine.

You want to get rid of event weapons but you want a custom weapon?
I think we should just get rid of event weapons for good, give the people who had event weapons money and take the weapons away. They're crapping up the server.

Zone is like Graal Kingdoms...you made a very very big mistake...it is nearly all based on event weapons...

At first event weapons were great on zone. They were -rare-.

Now everyone (except me) and their uncles have one.

I said this on 20 different posts 2 months ago. Not a single person listened to me.:frown:

i think, all event weapons should be buyable, and tottaly nw event weapons should be out, 1 event every 2-3 months stop after 3 events :) i would like that :)

I wonder why...
Event weapons should be removed from the game. Someone along time ago, suggested new skins for weapons instead of new weapons altogether. I personally think it would be a lot better.

i remember when there was only 1 planet
that was cool...

I'm too much of a noob to remember that. ^^
