PWA Production

This thread breaks none of the rules, so don't delete/close this as a cover-up like you've done for so many other threads.

What exactly has PWA done over the past few years? Is there a list anywhere, or does someone keep track of this, or? Just curious.

Yen 03-30-2006 01:17 AM

They don't need a reason to close it.
This will inevitably turn into a 'BASH THE PWA' thread. But then again, you do pose a good question. What HAVE they done?

-Rolls out the carpet.-

coreys 03-30-2006 01:21 AM

The only activity I've ever seen PWA do was Calani a bit and one other pwa on maloria last summer, and Malinko has done a bit on the forums but not much PWA work other than that going on that I've seen.

protagonist 03-30-2006 02:39 AM

I did lots. But that was a couple years ago, and they won't have me back.

Nitkizi 03-30-2006 02:42 AM

They probably do a lot of stuff you'll never know about.

Curt1zzle 03-30-2006 03:16 AM

They log on servers and steal scripts, only to be promoted. At least that's what a certain member does.

Malinko 03-30-2006 03:18 AM

Erm.

I'm on the forums? On rare occasions, I'm on the forums.

Bjoern and I complete inspections quick once it's requested. Bjoern and I also answer the GraalOnline Support Center often, almost when the tickets are submitted / updated, besides the time when he's asleep and I am, since he lives in Germany and I'm in the United States.

We also offer live help to worlds who need the help. A number of worlds as well.

We do a lot of work, it isn't seen from the average person, but still, ask others, a lot of people mention we do no work, but we do, on the small, detailed scale as well.

Both of us are quite active. I lack rights, but Bjoern is damn well active, so don't mention he does no work, since he does a lot, with the addition of Kingdoms as well.

Other than that, I'm not defending others.

Edit: Other than that, what else can we do? We wait on the worlds being developed, wishing some would be accomplished enough to go to the Hosted and Classic tabs. We answer all questions as fast as we can, in addition to reading all complaints, concerns, and suggestions. We attempt to solve issues as fast as we can, but it takes time. Just because an incident occurs, without a response from us, it is not being disregarded. It takes time.

Warcaptain 03-30-2006 03:20 AM

x_x I asked Bjorn for help this morning and he just said, "PM Stefan and ask him"

And you have always caused more trouble than you have helped, which may be why you have no rights.

Malinko 03-30-2006 03:25 AM

Erm, Bjoern could not know all the answers sometimes, as well as, he's quite occupied with a lot of things to do, which he does accomplish.

There's a difference between decisions and rights. At least I have a full, valid reason for the things I bring up, which is challenged from things which aren't logical. Though, if no one else has seen the things from long ago, brought to the present, then it can't be challenged much, now can it?

I suggest checking the facts, the information, rather than spreading around false rumours when in the end, will cost.

Time as in 8 months? To look into a simple matter?
No, PWA just aren't looking into complaints. It doesn't take 8 months to skim over five pages of material.

We're a team.

One or two people can not make the decision.

excaliber7388 03-30-2006 03:41 AM

It takes longer than I though to inspect a playerworld, at least for some PWA's, I won't mention names (Malinko was active, before you start to think I'm blaming him ;) )

napo_p2p 03-30-2006 03:50 AM

It may not seem like they are doing much at times, but I also think there is a lot more happening behind closed doors.

Damix2 03-30-2006 03:50 AM

Damix is the most active non-PWA PWA.

Last I checked, it was two people. :/

Hm?

There's four members on the team.

HoudiniMan, GrowlZ, Bjoern, and me.

Ibonic is the Game Master, so I guess that is sort of like five. Though, he does more than just world stuff.

Warcaptain 03-30-2006 05:00 AM

No the point I was making was that Bjorn needs to ask Stefan that himself.

He has access to Stefan so he can figure things out quicker than a normal player can. And since I was asking about a PW related question he should have found out and got back to me.

If I have to go to Stefan for my problems, why do you even have a staff position at all?

Why do you even post? you always tell me you have such easy access and Stefan approves "everything" you do, so why would you even ask bjorn? ...just shut up warCraptain please.

Meaning it must be of great importance! While every other week, players are reporting probably-more serious issues that are left untouched. Why does it seem like every issue directed to the PWA also must pass Ibonic, Stefan, or someone other? I don't see much a purpose in the team...

Milkdude99 03-30-2006 07:31 PM

When I was PWA I was quite active,But again that was some time ago. Keep in mind the PWA does alot of things behind the scenes so to speak that is not visible to the normal player. Don't be to quick to condem them just because you do not see what they are doing. But then again some may not be as actiive as they should be and to my knowledge there has never been any "checks and balances" to ensure they are indeed working.Something maybe Graal may want to look at , this coming from a former active PWA member.

uhm thats real mature...

no the only contact i have with stefan is forum PM and that takes at least 24 hours most of the time. i have never claimed to have any super contact with Stefan so grow up.

someone is just bitter because i proved them wrong about Delteria using Oladahns work :-P

Infernix 03-30-2006 11:02 PM

PWA..what can I say..they dont do "much" at all. They do what they "should" do once in awile though. I meen I think you all want more outa PWA but PWA trufully sounds like a bunch of global rights for being able to talk and read stuff. (Which is gained mainly by being popular on graal) Yes its a popularity contest there is Im sure a bunch of more experienced developers in the graal world.

It's true! Everyone didn't hate me before I was PWA!

ps: Darkvillin sucks, and my post should not have been editted if his was not.

Thallen 04-01-2006 06:45 PM

By the way, just an update... Since PWA was too lazy and slow to handle the thing with Maloria by themselves, it handled itself, and I'd like to think it was because of my influence, though that will be denied.

Oh, apparently Clash isn't the real manager, Maniaman is just using that as a cover-up so he can not be reprimanded for problems I've clearly brought up with the PWA. Pretty mature. april foolz!!!1

Maniaman 04-01-2006 07:03 PM

Hahahahaha. Thallen you are quite funny.

Yeah, it's called an April Fools joke. Clash isn't the real manager.

The only joke is that you're still manager, and letting your staff do whatever they please. You're pretty fortunate that you're more active, and probably more intelligent, than any of the PWA right now.

Regardless, as you can see, this thread is dead, with no explanation, as every thread directed to or about the PWA will eventually end up. They do so much "behind the scenes," apparently, but can't answer the people who matter, the players...

It's how they are selected today.

I.E Bjorn, Malinko

Thallen shouldn't have been banned. gg

Darlene159 04-14-2006 11:33 PM

Making a thread to complain about the pwa, then to complain about being banned, etc....is not going to help anything. Keep it off the forums, and make a support ticket.
They are not going to help you any faster by making a thread.....
closed (and do not remake it, or anything like it)
