Server downtimes: We are working on it
 

There was a power failure in the datacenter where the Graal servers are running. We try to do the best what we can to keep our servers up, but there might still be some problems for a few hours. We also do complete backups to be sure. Sorry for downtime of servers that are caused by this.

Services known to be affected by the failure:

• Graal.net, including VIP Hosting
• Support Center
• Admin Control Panel
• Main website, guild CP, etc
• Number of playerworlds

I want my money back!

This is good. I would say all servers, not only playerworlds. I was not able to connect to any server. :frown:

There is an extreme case of lag on Zone. Not just lag, but extreme lag. It's unbearable and everyone is going nuts. I told them there is some problem and that Stefan will fix it soon. Hope I'm right :x

Hurry, I dont think I can take playing Graal alongside UnholyNation players for much longer.

Yeah, honestly, It has only been about 12 hrs or so.

Quick, everyone post threads bashing playerworlds and threads about bans and everything else that the support centre is supposed to be used for!

Next time a Final Fantasy 11 or World of Warcraft server falls that you are playing, go ask them for a free 5 days, and tell me what they say..because honestly, if that was the case in WoW or FF11, you would have about 5 yrs free, in one month.

haha, ya I noticed that. I suppose it was only just to defend graal. But yes, Kuji has a point. unless the effects last for a day, we shouldnt get any more time, otherwise we should get just what we deserve...one day.

60-70% of graal was sleeping when the attacks started @ 4:00 or so..including myself (i am talking eastern time)

I woke up at 8, I seen it down, I figured it was my connection and didn't feal like fixing it, wen't back to sleep until 11, then I noticed it.

Meaning..you'd be lucky if you got like 5 hours..but the day was still good @ 1:00/2:00 when everything went back up.

I think that there is little that Cyberjoueurs can do to restore the operation of the Support Center if there is a problem with the datacenter.

Hey, uhm, Just got home to notice EVERY server besides classic and a couple of priv are up O.o

And: That meant anyone know why?

Not a "blackout" as such, more work is commencing at the datacenter in France. The servers that are online I think are mostly situated in the USA.

All the servers that are on are Classic + Gold are up, and then their are several small ones that are not up..anyway, lets hope for the best.

the playerworlds that are gone are most likely intentionally down. when i got home my rc said: the playerworld was shut down which means the down time is intentional.

please dont keep posting about your observations and be patient for things to get back to normal.

Ugh...you do know if your on rc, and theirs a blackout it will tell you the server has shutdown because the connection to the server was shutdown.

And it is most likely intentional because all but gold/classic are down

NPC server on classic is down with little hopes of reviving it, it seems.
