Misty Mug Tavern Prices

Okay, I have seen that Prices are not going so well.
Here's your chance, find the entire list and post it on the forum here, I will take a good look over your list. This isnt a contest, but if you can come up with one that more people will agree with, I want to see it.

I do not want to see complaints unless your going to propose a new list to us.
Heh, let this be a chance for you to make a difference on GK.

I somewhat recall posting on this previously.

Yes but thats not a Pricelist, its a complaint thread, you could have simply told me instead.

Generally when a clientelle of a restaurant or business complains that the prices are too high and they threaten to leave with their much needed platinum...the restaurant or business doesn't ask the customers to solve their problems for them. Comeon now, show some business sense and figure out how to appease the community and make a profit! It should be fun instead of saying "I don't feel like it, you all do it for me!"

Note to Customers:

Booze, Misty Mug Tavern - 40 plat
Booze, NightHawk Isle, Samurai - 2gold

This business isn't about just earning money, if that was your assumption upon it, you were wrong. What I aim for is to create an environment that people can RP in without spending a few thousand plat on a single meal.

Id say varying price by the nature of the sale would probably help more than just trying to find the perfect one size fits all price list. Small dine in orders having one metric for price, and people comming in for trail tac would get another price metric. I think the problem is that while the intent of the staff may be a roleplayed restaurant, thats not nessesarily a priority for people who just want some spare food for the road. maybe hire a crew of people to build up a surplus of road food. It may not simply be the prices, it may be the business model in general. You definitely do have two different potential types of customer though, one that comes in for a beer and chat, and one that wants to get 30 jerky or something and dip out. One of them can deal with 40 plat booze, as they only order 1 or 2 things, and the other just doesn't go to the tavern. If you just don't care about the latter as a customer base, then you really don't have a problem.

I think it prices should vary by how muich work is put in.

IE beer should be cheaper than Booze, because while we have to go sail and GET booze, Sam can just spam the /create beer button or whatever until we have enough of what we neeed.

If it went by work effort, it'd be fair.
