New effects?
1 Attachment(s)
I've noticed that Zone needs some work when it comes to effects.
For example, compare the flamethrower on zone (attatched) to a flamethrower in real life. http://www.biggerhammer.net/mgshoot/...wer_upward.jpg Would be nice if Zone's looked something like that. I've also noticed that bikes no longer give off a huge cloud of smoke once they explode. What's up with that? Bikes should also give off a small amount of smoke when they have low hp. On Arctic, you should be able to see the player's breath. When HP is at red, the player's breath should be seen more often (because they are breathing more heavily + faster). |
bikes should be cooler if you ask me.

as for smoke/bikes...all i can say is...agreed didnt we have a discussion about blood for when a player has low hp? i still like that idea, but breathing is good too =] |
Had to be me...didn't it?
Edit: I cannot see wrecked bikes anymore. Why not? They just dissapear and go back to their respawn point as soon as they have been destroyed. |
hello particle engine?

i no i suggested that in another recently posted thread lmao...it'd be cool if the flamethrower left an after burn for awhile like on the pic (look below the bigass fire near the end...there's some fire burning on the ground)

Now I'm hoping for some real fire looking things. The whole breathing on arctic thing is very possible, specially breathing at lower hp as it would just end up being breath showing up more often. |
i whipped up a flamethrower emitter. somethin like this maybe?
