Events?
 

I think we need to get together and work out a plan to host events for our kingdom. I know I have a few items I can donate from time to time for an event.

Been talking to Alan and I know he would not mind doing an event either. Perhaps we need a few ideas for a kingdom event with Forest and CP.

I stopped events and left Forest due lacking time and lacking activity of Draxx.

Id be happy to donate a few items myself. It would be great if we held some events :D

Draxx isnt always available for computer issues or modem limitations with-hold him from much of our active day. Me on the other hand, well I have a permanent connection that isnt interuptable.

As for the events, I am willing to donate a few things yes, but should we have an event group? One specific to hosting events?

Sure, im up for events, im also willing to participate in the 'hosting event group' if you need

You could always continue Gryffon's Hyralts RP Story, which had a lot of possibilities... even server wide.

While I must stand by Kyden in the pushing for quality "non lolrp" RP on kingdoms, that still made me laugh :cool:

The only problem to Hyralts is the fact that they controled a few peoples fates, and personally I do not think we have much say in how anyones RP story ends up.

Man, you are sad. Instead of going around FLAMING every idea that forest has, why can't you contribute to forest. Yes, forest has changed, but change is not always bad. Wait until you see forest when we get done with it. Almost all those locked houses have stuff in them, including smithy's, a Mana Stone Shop, a food shop, and a Mansion. Some other Various places that are needed, that teach about Game Mechanics. We are also working on a Dwarven Town. You have to have the resources to RP, if you want to RP. You knew nothing about the development of forest, so if you have nothing to contribute or nothing good to say, I suggest you keep your mouth SHUT! :eek:

Seriously, I now know how Bel'la felt, sort of -except they had a reason for their treatment, we don't.

I asked Kyden a couple of days ago for a suggestion for an event, he said " cant help you, because then im helping forest"

You know what? Up yours Samurai - and your whopping 15 houses worth of active people.

Uhm, Gryff was in Forest long before you were, and knows a lot more about it. Therefore his input is significant, no matter how much you may feel it's an attack or whatever.

This is one of those "I'll believe it when I see it" sort of situations, but still, quite a few ideas are rotten.

The only thing Gryffon knows alot about, is

A) Being an indignant, arrogant, pig
B) His little orc/elven 'cooperation' fantasy of a Confederation

Yeah he might have been in forest longer. He also might know more about the history. Every time we ask him to help us he just shoots us down with a flame. So if he can't provide us info or help us with the current tasks at hand. then he has no significance at all RIGHT NOW, maybe 3 years ago when Forest was "Booming". Just because Forest isn't exzactly what he dreamed, doesn't mean he has to attack every idea with bad words and bad intent. Instead he could say hey, when I was in Forest it was like this or like that, not NO FOREST CAN NEVER CHANGE, IT HAS TO BE THE WAY I DREAMED. Well wake up and smell the roses people. I have made this point many many times and I will say it again. When Draxx first took leadership with Lasaria forest was MURDERED. No trees (Come on a forest with no trees), Half the houses were locked, and the castle was all crappy. Now if you could only see what Me, Draxx, Grir, Sae, Dayaa, and the help of a select few other people have added on debug, you would be singing a different tune. Like I said before instead of attacking every idea forest has. He could "sit down and have a talk with us". Has he ever tried to "nicely" tell us the history or anything of that sort... NO didn't think so. If he has nothing to help forest out with then he can keep his mouth shut and not say anything at all.

And again I meet with a person who really has no idea of how to deal with the scatterbrained genius of Mr. Durime. Tsk.

Well he is the one who needs to learn how to deal with people. My people skills are fine =P. He may have good ideas and be a good RPer, but a genius? hahahahahahaha far from it from what I've seen.

oh yeah believe it cause you'll see it =D, and if you can't wait, just ask people on debug to look for you they'll see. seems like the only people that think our ideas are "rotten" are the people that aren't in forest.

Don't force your problems on us when your own kingdom is falling on top of itself.

And yes, while Gryffon can write amazingly long stories that lead to the correct assumption of him having no life...

He is no longer a part of Forest, he forfeits his influence. Do you think Hitler could walk into Germany 30 years after WWII (though he was killed, yes, he killed himself), and expect people to listen to him?

No - so why do you expect us to heed Gryffon's un-warranted warnings of a Forest long dead- and for good reason?

There's this thing called "Search" and better yet "Advance Search" that really helps in saving time. Forgive me for having 5 minutes to use it.

And again... this really sounds like someone I want to help.

Then please don't come to a public forum asking for ideas.

I wasn't the one who came to it, Dayaa was.

I came to defend our position, Dayaa's initiative to make Forest an active, prosperous kingdom (IE not Samurai), and some very good friends of mine from a bunch of formers who cant seem to let the idea sink in they no longer control this Kingdom.

Alarico, a bit of advice, if you want to help your kingdom, you might want to lose your ego.

Egos tend to lead people away.

Oh, and on another note, work on your people skills, because, frankly, they blow.

And, rather than moan and groan about advice given to you, you should just say thank you. Obviously Dayaa created the thread with the intention of getting good advice. By being a stubborn jackass you don't help much.

I'm sorry, but I just logged on and say 0 forest members and 4 Samurai members.

I guess more people on tag = less activity.

All you can do is try to bad mouth Samurai, oh wait, take your own advice and worry about your own kingdom.

Ah, yet the thing, Damix, is that I am worrying about my Kingdom, which is hwy I am posting in Forest's forums, not Samurai's :)

And when I asked you for help, Kyden, it was before all of this, and your ONLY excuse was "Nope, sorry, it'd be helping Dayaa and Forest"

Event ideas, Forestians?

Alarico is right, this thread was about events for forest... why should you people turn it into a bash fest. I just had to make this clear sorry about this one. This may be a public forum, but did you see dayaa asking anybody but Forest Members for help? If somebody outside of forest wants to post (with some good advice) so be it. If you have nothing useful to say don't post it.

Well as some of you may know, I have recently re-joined graal kingdoms after a year-long journey. I could host an event sometime during next week, possibly thursday, but I have no prizes to give out, as I am currently itemless. I could host an RP event, or a follow the clues event, or any event anyone wishes to suggest, but someone would have to help me out a bit to get back on my feet. I won't be on this weekend much, but I will check the forums. It feels good to be back in my forest home! Post what you think of this =)
