Make something new

Hi,

i still see the "players online" number dropping and on almost no classic server are more than 100 active players online...

Why is that so?
Well i think most people dont want to pay money(even if its one time) for a p2p account of some random 2D game...
and most are not willing to pay for vip in order to become a scripter or something like this(yeah if u dont have any skills u wont be taken by classic tab servers, so your best bet is to practice on a private one)

Who knows more reasons why Graal has few players that split up on way tooooo many servers?
What could Graal do to make more people playing it?

I think the subscribing prizes have to be lower.. here's some list I like..
- 10€ for lifetime p2p + 3 months gold (to start an account has to be cheap! else players won't start with p2p at all.. it's a hard decision if you are new to a game to upgrade or not..)
- 15€ for 3 months gold (lifetime p2p required)
- 10€ for 6 months vip (lifetime p2p required)
- 18€ for 12 months vip (lifetime p2p required)
- 28€ for 6 months gold (lifetime p2p required)
- 45€ for a server (half a year)
- 80€ for a server (1 year)

Also I think trials should be able to save on the hosted servers so they can get some experience on graal without having to pay but play free on less-good servers than the classics. P2P accounts must be trials on private servers and also be able to save at hosted servers. I think that'd do realy good to graal and make a lot of players come back!

I kinda like it the way it is. It costs money to keep servers online, and I really dont see any problems with any of the cuurent prices. If you like the game, you upgrade to p2p. No bid deal.

Well I realy think a lot more players would come.. and when the popularity raises.. you can always raise the prize a bit again but for now Graal has such less players than before... it should get more populair realy! That would also motivate Classic servers more to improve and stay up-to-date..

Also it would be very sexy if they'd pay Classic Managers >_<
The motivation of getting something for what they due will encourage competition between servers.. Managers could decide to pay their staffs maybe.. Thus it'll higher the quality of the servers, and in turn, higher the population of the servers! Therefore, it would higher the revenue of the server... Or... The revenue of Graal ^^ Perhaps, even, GO should pay the servers proportional to their average daily playercount

i definitely agree that something must be done
maybe they can finish graal3d that looks like it would bring more players

No one wants to pay USD for a game, that is 2D, and they dont see it as really good, If someone wanted to try Kingdoms, they either need to share an account (illegeal) or pay for ATLEAST a VIP membership Just to be allowed on SUNDAYS to try it, There should be trial, Not like now, The trials now SUCK, you cant save at all, there should be like a 30day trial period or something, Long enough to make friends, get used to graal, get going on a server or two, Trials could log a PC Id or a IP number, So that people couldnt spam accounts, just for the free 30days per account.

The 3Dness of Graal3D would need to be smothed out first, the characters and walls(buildings) look too edgy and sharpylike

The subscription number is actually raising. Also we are working on several things, like New Bomboria where trial accounts can directly meet other players and eventually also save, but not leave Bomboria until they upgrade their account. After finishing the Kingdoms things we will also invest more time into Graal 3D again.

i think releasing graal3d is the worst thing.

graal has the habit of releasing big new things instead of fixing old problems. now its to the point where there are so many problems players dont want to play.

graal PAYS people to work on graal3d. but what they really need to do is hire a PAID global development team. a team that will do graphics levels and scripts for playerworlds. that way current and new worlds can actually FINISH and make quality things. its hard to develop something thats actually worth 40 dollars a year when not only do none of the developers get paid to do the work they do.. BUT they have to pay a large ammount to do it. im not trying to say that its absolutely unreasonable to pay for a pw. though i do think it is absolutely stupid that ive had to turn away 2 staff already for my PW because they didnt have P2P accounts. stop worrying about graal3d and worry about what you have.. PLEASE. because the playerworlds now are NOT up to par. UN gets 150 players, yes.. but how active are these people? these people play UN because its a stupid place to go to have stupid fun.. not a reputable game. and i feel that UN offers a crutch for a lot of things because it DOES get good playercount. but its the only world. every pw should be getting 100+ if it had the staff and resources.

if you want us to pay for a playerworld space, a place to do our ideas.. and you expect us and others to pay to play things WE made.. we should be offered administrative assistance. paid helpers.

since this thread started i have noticed a much higher playercount then usual but ive also noticed a lot of older people returning as opposed to new people
as for graal3d im just saying that once we fix the current problems that is a good way to get people since a lot of people like 3d games and i personally like the graphics on it although they do take a while to load sometimes
