Is there any way to make a GUI control leave it's parent? z-z

I've posted too much today.

By default, it seems that a GuiScrollCtrl's scroll bar background (the part behind the rectangle that shows how far you've scrolled) is stretched.
Is it possible to stop it from stretching?

addControl() it to something else.
