Simple Shields
 

I'm a big fan of neat, simple shields.

I despise overdone shields. See red heart shield, new HSOD, etc.

I like this, I wanted to call it the Zormite Shield of Sacrifice and have it as a kingdom item with AC + 2 WIS + 1 POW + 2

But I doubt that will happen ;)

Also, with stats like that, where's the sacrifice?

Yea, pretty flat looking. You should try to consider the materials it's made of when you color it so that the texture is represented.

Also, dont forget about light directions, and reflection ^_^ Those give it shape also.

It's very off from what the Zormite shield's colors should be.

Thanks for the input, anyone else have any simple stuff? Maybe I should start a minimalism thread : P

Also I suppose the sacrifice would be the fact that it's AC is rather pitiful in comparison to other shields.

Actually, AC+2 with two stats is insane by most methods they have adopted on GK.

When im home ill add some shading.

Neat, except I liked the darker color, the bright red is almost painful. Perhaps the shading might help that, but I like the hinge-like corners.

It's lost some of its simplicity, but actually, I like it a lot. This one deserves some attention indeed, nice work.

Maybe the fact that it's missing a "FOR MOTHER ZORMITE."

EVERY Zormite shield is missing a zormite component.

Untrue. The Zormite Shield is supposed to look like a shell or scale, while the Zormite Shield of Honor is supposed to feature a small shell, but someone kind of got it wrong on the top end.

It was purposely made a Fleur de lise.

why the fleur de lise by the way? I thought it was zormite not the boy scouts.

It's a sign of royalty, and honour - although the French pretty much iconized it.

Also, I'd like to work on a pair of boots. Zormite's Flippers (Speed + 10 when in water)
