Leaders meeting
 

We had a leader's meeting today in the war room at Pirton, to discuss ways to improve CP. There were 8 leaders in attendance, and everyone had good ideas. Here are the results of the meeting:

Closed actions (already resolved):

- CP will have a recruiting freeze, for at least 2 weeks

- Requirements for new members (when we start recruiting again) will be everything that is currently in place (References, Rules, Application) plus they will have to 1) build a boat and sail it to CP, and 2) make a hook. This will make sure the new recruits have some basic knowledge of CP and boat building, where CP is (!) and where the workshops are on the island.

- House supplies: Anyone who wants to build a house on CP must have ALL of their house supplies before their house flag can be approved. You must show them to the approver before the flag will be approved.

Open actions (this is the To Do list, in order of priority):

1) Chris, Jack and Alan will hold a once a month training session for Pirates to learn about preparing for boat battles and battling skills

2) Yannick, Zeltino and Alan will work on improving the CP ranks.

Should I help with the training sessions Alan mate? Or shall I stick mostly to RP training in general? -- Sorry I missed the meeting, homework blah.

Perhaps you can work out some training lessons for new members.

Another thing we discussed - people wanting to build houses should get approval from the Mayor of the town they want to build in or near. Commodores and Commanders are welcome to approve for the towns they used to Mayor (i.e. Yannick for Milton, Chris for Westford and Iscariot for Rum Town).
