Worthless idea
 

I was thinking that each class needs to have "weapon slots", wich are the weapons you bring into the battlefield when you warp, and these should vary (I.E. A Heavy Infantry unit can carry much more than a Comando) Since these would be limited to only weapons, I was thinking it'd be nice to have hotkeys with them as well.

All of my ideas come in pairs and this is no exception; What about a hotkey for combat knife or maybe other melee weapons instead of equiping them to use, you would press the hotkey (Similary to Reapers) to attack with your hotkeyed melee weapon (Or just the knife) without having to put your gun away, this however could only be used with Riffles and while using just one pistol.

How about you just shoot them close range?! Appearantly that normally does as much if not more damage...
Edit: The first idea is making zone complicated, picking weapons and stuff, I'd just pick appirces, BR, RPS, and maybe Pipes/Jetpack if I'm bored... ^_^

Im not sure if you're being sarcastic or not with your first two sentences.
And how is limiting what you carry making it too complicated? Im just giving more use to the clases.

Wudnt that get real complicated tho? I cant be assed with choosing all the weps i want before i go out although it will just be BR and Apps i still wudnt bother with the fuss.. and erm hotkeys is a real bad idea erm can u imagine a noob stood next to u with a white flag then he hotkeys knife and kicks crap out u xD Well if somone wants to equpit a knife they just betta be hella fast at changing weps like me ;D Its a skill u must learn not just be lazy and hotkey it
