Pirate stories
 

This thread is for Pirates to tell their favorite stories of life in CP. Stories of past glories, kingdom events, funny events, or other stories are all welcome. I'll start with a story from last year.

When Bosh was emperor of Samurai, he built a cool embassy (is it still there?) and invited all the kingdom leaders to attend, with their representatives, all in b-mode. This prompted wild rumors that he was going to kill everyone with dozens of potions of fiery destruction he had been saving for months, so there was a big run on potions of resist fire before the meeting. As it turned out, he was quite civil and they weren't needed, but I'm getting ahead of the story, which is really about CP anyway so enough about Bosh. According to the event rules, a Samurai ship was to travel to each island, pick up the delegates and head back to Samurai island, where their fleet would be providing security. Of course, this idea was the vilest imaginable thing the Pirates had ever heard, so we met in the war room at Pirton to discuss our plans….

As the hour of the event arrived, the foul red sail escort crossed into CP waters (announced every step of the way by our spy planted on the Samurai homeland), the Pirate fleet of 8 ships set sail. The escort was quickly demolished, and the proud and noble black sails roared into Samurai waters, where a herioc battle ensued and the Pirate fleet easily carried the day. All Samurai ships were sunk, including the one our spy built on Samurai to come help out in the fight, har har. Some quick thinking Samurai's tried to build extra ships while the battle raged, but I had Kilik the Tank stationed at the Samurai boat builder, and he cut em all down. All in all it was a glorious day for CP, and I'm proud of the mates who took it to the enemy, while I was hobnobbing with the biggies in the embassy (grrr, would much rather have been out there sailing in the blood and boards and gunpowder). Awards for valor were presented to Harbormaster Cheops, Admiral Raziel and Chris Steele among others during our post-battle celebration at the Nighthawks Island booze bar. Thanks to all the people from both sides who partcipated in this great fun.

((The only complaint I heard about the whole thing was a post later on forums that one of the newer Pirates said something out of RP character during the battle, which the Samurai poster was completely upset over. To which Mr. Cheops responded that RP OOC crimes were much worse on the Samurai side, unless "omfg, my boat is glitched" was Japanese for something!)). Owned.

Pirate Story
 

har har aye godd times indeed.

Not long after that i stuck to my routinal patrols around the Cp waters as i always do, but found something odd.
I saw a ship named the Pirate Hunter.
It was still but my curiosity was growing and i decided to sail closer. It opened fire at me and I engaged it. I knew by looking at them they were small time so i did go easy and they were panicing.
cursing one another to sail faster.
They were so panic striken they beggged for mercy.
I asked them for a reason why i should spare their lives.
They claimed that they put the name on so they wouldn't be engaged by pirates. ((that didn't work as you can hee hehe))
I said it was no good and was about to fire my cannon where i decided to instead sink them, make sure they didn't bothewr pirates again.
So i told them to give me all the cannonballs they had.
They did and i let them sail opn their merry way.
((now this is the funny part))

Alan was sailing home from main island har har.
So as soon as the pirate hunter left Cp they were destroyed by alan so i scored on cannonballs and alan a kill.
I actually felt bad for them but they just laugh at the matter when we meet now hehe.
