Extra Tab in Q mene
 

What if we could have a extra Tab in the Q menu that looks just like the area where we use equiped gear. It would be used for a secondary set of gear for quick and easy use. For instance a warrior who is mostly likely used to fighting melee style uses rows pmop fhom etc...magic users on the other hand use items such as RoE's sash mith etc...However, some people like to use both but to do so they have to stop and take all of there melee gear off and equip all of there magic gear. It could be made easy if we had a secondary Tab in q menu where we could have our magic or melee gear equiped in the other tab and hotkey it. Of course the active Tab would be whichever one you click on and have activated. But for easy use whenever you use hotkey it could switch from all of your melee gear to magic gear. Sort of like what you can do on Diablo 2

They had the idea of armour sets for hotkeys but it was shot down.

I simply have it so if I hit from 1 though = I effectivly switch

Yea, it would be handy. When I would PK and such I just had a row of keys dedicated to my secondary "battle" gear and a primary "speed" gear.

Well you can still equip your items via hotkeys although you might need to press a lot of keys for a whole set

Me too. I like the idea to change a complete equipment with one hotkey. :cool:

It would be neat to be able to open up your menu, hold shift, and type a character in to have that menu item put in a non-viewable list of items that you have binded to that key. For example, if you already had an item bound to '1', you could hold shift and bind yet another item to the same key that you had for the first one. It wouldn't have to necessarily be shift though. It could be Alt or other various keys.

Just a thought.

It might also make combat more interesting, as people could swap between item sets in mid-combat and do a few desperation moves. :]

I like this idea alot. I, for one, am running out of hotkeys between spells/weapons/skills/etc.

I only have one set of equipment =(

The function would need to be disabled for the casting of spells or the use of skills, though.

Brilliant idea, :cool: , Very nifty for 1. magic duels changing to phy or in maps you have to suggenly use magic on somethin or Vis versa 2. you are Bulky in battle equip and needa change to speed to meet sum1, and so on, I like this idea((im already out of hot keys :*( need more numbers and letters ))

Yep. It would free up some keys that can be used for spells or skills.

Indeed, would free about 23 or so keys for other more important spells, a great idea, should certainly be looked into.

Agh. Just this suggestion shows there's something completely wrong with GK, when someone has an uber mage set and an uber warrior set x_x

Who said it had to be an uber set for the user to want to change quickly? Gosh.
