v4 font bug on gk
 

Sometimes on gk if you write something ig,
the fonts change to cryptic hyroglyphs and cant be read anymore.

I dont know how to reproduce it, but it happened several time to me now, or i seen it several times.

Yes that happens everywhere on Graal4 even if you goto a long server description and scroll down or chat.

Turn off the bitmap fonts if they are not working for you.

Yes you can turn off bitmap fonts in the Graal options (F3). Bitmap fonts speed up things, especially with Nvidia cards, but are sometimes making problems. Please also check the F2 window for errors if that is happening.

No problems at all, and it doesnt annoy while playing

its just wierd and iam curious what it causes :O
iam on a nvi card i dont think ill disable it.

They only increase speed if they are working correctly, and judging by this thread, it doesn't seem like they are working correctly for you.

It usually only happens in very certain cases and don't last long
