Intel(R) 82810 (E) Graphics Controller
 

Not sure if this should go in the bugs or main forums for v4, so I decided the bug forum, seemed logical.

People who have this graphic chipset, could someone please post if he or she have problems with v4?

Such as:
Does bitmap fonts work?
Does particles work?

Would be nice since a lot of people have this chipset and some features aren't available for them.

It would also be wise to ensure that your graphics drivers provided by Intel are up-to-date before posting the sort of results you are getting.

I just updated mine, but I still can't get V4 x_X I used to be able to when it first came out, and then, *poof* no more :| however, it did lag for me (but that was before i updated my driver, who knows now?)

If v4 isn't working for you on this graphics controller, first attempt to update the drivers, then switch Graal to fullscreen, that is what fixed it for me. However, particles, bitmap fonts and the players on the minimap don't work for me.

I updated mine as well, still a not working. I have the same bugs. (To ApothiX)

We are trying to get some PC/board with that chip soon, since those problems don't seem to be fixable without actually having one.

Stefan, taking a look at Intel's section on the website about this chipset's incompatibility list might be of interest to you. It appears Graal isn't the only game that is having these kinds of difficulties with this chipset.

Yes but it should be possible to fix those problems or at least detect them and display a message if we have a board with that gfx chip to debug Graal on. Producers of hardware do not always wish to make things that last forever, since they want to sell more stuff, but people don't always want to buy another PC if there is some small problem.

Back home, I have either an 82810 or an 82815. I'm visiting home this weekend, so I'll check if that PC has any problems if it is an 82810.
