It looks ok. You could try to make your buildings look better.

Level looks alright one thing you should consider redoing is the big rock? next to the table and work a little more on the houses.

Besides those two things its not to to bad, my rating would be 5/10 (for creativity of the tiles)

Huwajux 12-26-2005 06:41 PM

Ok I replaced the rock. I also spruced up the buildings a bit.

We meant edit the tileset better not put water in the roof and little top on the other build. The water however should be taken out really not logical.

I'm only using ideas from other LAT's.
Go onto Shangri-La you will see it's style of levels.

Nice level, Huwajux. Got AIM?

Magadal 12-27-2005 01:29 PM

Hey Dark :> Nice level, but it looks like you used the path generator :|. PLEASE, dont do that xD.

CidNight1142 12-27-2005 08:40 PM

I actually like this level quite a bit. The houses are neat, especially the one with the pillar into the water. Seen it before, but its not done too often, so its still pretty creative. The cliffs are really good for work with a tileset, which usually ends up being an excuse for underdetailing. You've avoided that. 7.5/10

I still think your levels need some work before I can hire you on Shangri-La.
You need to be a little more creative. Here's a few of my levels from the ow for you to look at. I hope they help.

Codein 12-29-2005 12:04 PM

I don't think you get more creative than a body of water in your roof.

CidNight1142 12-29-2005 06:22 PM

Although I agree that your first and third levels shown are pretty original, I would have to vote that his level is more original then your second. Sorry if thats confusing, lemme clarify. Huj level > your second level.

You guys really need a new grass tile... that one is way too patterny.

Galdor 12-30-2005 01:48 AM

If that would have been his own idea I'd give him props for it. But Shawn64 did that first in our town center. And what I'm getting at is that he needs to be a little more creative and come up with his own ideas. He does nice inside levels, but he doesn't add a lot of detail. Same with his outside levels. If you look at mine you see that they look complete and full, where his are more plain and empty. I'm not saying he isn't creative or a good LAT, because from what I've seen so far, he is a good LAT. He just hasn't practiced with Shawn's tileset enough to get really creative yet. He just needs to practice with the tileset some more.

I disagree with you that his level > my second one. I'll admit that haveing all the building similar is kind of repetitive, but it actually has a lot of creativity put into it. I spent hours just shaping the paths and doing the ground detail.

You try getting Shawn to make changes to his tileset lol. He'll add new tiles if I request them, but he gets mad if I say that the tileset has errors. So I just make the best of what I'm given.

They are very nice and a lot of fun to work with. Shawn is really good at making graphics, as well as leveling and scripting. Our server would be nothing without him.
