Records of what? In my opinion I believe that Jesus existed but was merely a normal man who had the ability to either trick people or lived with guilable and easily fooled people.

He would trick people for attention and being remembered for thousands of years later, and if he did evade death, he wouldn't be remembered in history. He most likely knew this.

anyway, watch the history channel, or discorery, a while back they showed all the scientific and historical evidence of the fact that there was a jesus. Without even using the bible (except to begin research obviously) so yeah, Jesus walked the earth, and he was gifted (after all, who would write about him if he wasn't. 2000 years frim now, no one's gonna know your name, unless you do something shocking, like cure people, perform miracles, come back from the dead, etc) and btw, jesus is very active in the forums, open your eyes man, he's played on DR too ;)

It seems that this was written by someone with nothing but his own cunfused interpretation on life and the past. The studies done by multiple scientists (both skeptics and believers) found hard evidence of Jesus's life. So happy birthday man, because even if you weren't the son of god (though i know he is) you still gave many people the strength to better themselves and the world around them.

How do you get physical pleasure out of posting about a traditional christian holiday in a unnecessary way? If you want to say "Merry Christmas" then you should have said that. I doubt there's any fun in telling people that it's Jesus' birthday, as opposed to Merry Christmas.

If guys saying Jesus didn't existed it's like saying Shakespeare didn't exist. There's no true hard evidence Shakespeare did but, we read his work. well, We read the bible isn't that The Almighty God's Work. (and before you he didnt wright it, the supposed apostles did) Well, How could there be so many stories about him. About him in so many cultures. I believe his did in fact exist and was the son of God. It's not his birth that intrigues me, It's his death. Did he marry Mary Magdelen and have 7 kids?

Also, think of jesus, long beard, old grey hair, and had too many cookies, ring any bells?

Christmas, in a christian sense, is the Religious holiday of the birth of Christ, but wait! Not only Christians celebrate Christmas but I'm sure Athiest and none believers celebrate Christmas too, as a tradition.

Saying "Jesus (2005)" is fair does, but wait! There is no record of 25/12 being the the birth date of Christ. There's been proof of other, older religions celebrating Christmas, or a Christmas-like holiday (Pagans have the Yule festival I believe people BC worshipped the sun around this date).

It'd been far easier to just make a Merry Christmas thread rather than be such an idiot, and, even deliberately, aroused this Eyebrow-Furrower.

There is a Merry Christmas Thread, this thread is unnecessary, and was worded in such a way to appear like it was meant to be offensive.
