What kind of servers do you guys like?
 

Well i am trying to make a server but im clueless on a theme. Im trying to collect some ideas i could be given. Thanks.

I like classic servers the best. I think we need at least 1 really good classic server.

Too many people are trying to take servers right now and throw so many different ideas together, or go with a "MODERN" theme (Era-esque). I agree with Eagle in the extent that if you build a world that is just classic levels without anything prevalently different than other Classic worlds, if it is of high quality, then people will play it. I don't go to playerworlds looking for something completely different, I go to them to find something the same done with a lot of dedication and innovation.

I got the idea of a 1930's old age type of modern server. with 3 overworlds. one rural, one urban, one forest. Have alot of modern type of things like a housing system, sickness, health, digestion. And the classic 1930's cars(man i love the look of them).There are many classic servers in the makes right now though.

Why not have 1 overworld with 3 parts to it?

I believe some guy "Gareth" or something like that was trying to make a server like this,. I guess it never came about, though.

Well having 3 parts on one ow would make the parts im making seem small. And im trying to follow the 1930 role. And islands wouldnt much suit it, because for transportation, you would need boats and such, and i was planning on trains.BUt i may do it like that.

If your going to do a modern server, I susgest past. Though I still susgest classic.

Anyways, you could have seperate parts to an overworld. It doesn't make it seem small. Its called making a rarther large overworld.

Maybe ill just combine everything into one big overworld.
