Finally got the basic skin shading done, but its taken me ages so i thought id just post it and be happy :D

Well well well, another new artist with some real pixel skill, this is a pleasent thing to see!

I like the little circles you've made - you should make them accord to the current perspective and a little more defined; This would add a lot of character to your sand monster :)

Zero, i was thinking of adding bubble looking things, and using the same method of shading to give them shape, i was just unsure if i should or not. But now you said, i will make updates , thanks :D

I also need to edit the wrinkles in his skin, the lines are to outstanding, i need to shade them off to create the curve im trying to get :D
