Snow on GK
 

Well, seeming as how it is snowing and all, wouldn't all the lakes be frozen over?

I say that all the water on Kingdoms gets turned into ice.

This way, people have to take some sort of Medieval snowmobile (doubt these exist), or some other sort of transportation to get to the other Kingdoms.

I doubt this would work out in any way, but it would be fun, and maybe add some excitement to transportation.

Also, you could add an ice script so that instead of swimming, we slide on the ice.

This could also possibly introduce new monsters?

Just a thought.

The freezing point of salt water (oceans) is much lower than the fresh water lakes on GK. I can only see the water that is within the land itself be frozen. Everything else would be harder in reality. ;)

Indeed - I live near the ocean and it's only near the land that it freezes. Although you will frequently see big chunks out in the ocean o:

I like this idea, could be fun :)... "snow mobile" race... one person navigates and the other peddles, or runs, or however they decide to make the contraption work :)

Some people, my self included, appriciate a degree of realism. Otherwise I could ban you for no reason what so ever, because... it's just a game. Right?

That's true, but I had no idea that GK was that well thought out.

But anyway, back to the ideas!

We should collaberate on graphics, make some snow shoes, snow mobiles, and all that :P

It seems I failed to download the GFX for the winter status display and skills/weapons menus.

Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the graalian trade house is so delightful, even though theres no place to go, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

Rudolf the rednose reindeer, had a very shiny nose, and if you ever saw it, you would even say it glows.

except in canada, its all cold and blizzardy, we need snow squalls, and ice, and pulling people out of their driveways with your truck!

But seriously, we should make some graphics for all this, and even if it isn't uploaded, there is always a chance next year o_O

I would like to build snowmen! You have to dig for snowballs and you need cloths, coal and a carrot to make hat eyes and nose. And when it's finished you can cast a spell at him and make it your pet or so ^^.
And sometimes the spell fails and its not a pet but a abominable snowman.
I think that could be funny.

Well then lets stop making idea's and start making GFX and scripts people, man, the RP story of snowmen not being able to be built yet could be that the snow isnt packable snow yet :O
anyways, lets see what the GFX for everybodys idea is!!!
