Graal v4.02 revision 14 released
A new version for Windows and Linux has been released. Sorry to the Mac users, we are still working on some speed improvements for Graal 3D and the microphone support.
Updates: - Fixed a problem with disappearing npcs when reentering a level after more than 5 minutes and having active npcs there - Fixed the position of gani-sounds on maps and gmaps - Particle engine: it is possible to let showimgs automatically follow the player, npc or projectile by using the attachtoowner variable: PHP Code:
- Particle engine: using the new emitter.continueafterdestroy flag (true or false) you can let the particles smoothly fade out - by default all showimgs and particles are removed once the object (player, npc, projectile) is disappearing; with this option the existing particles will continue to fly, but new particles are not emitted. A simple effect for projectile ganis (shoot command): PHP Code:

Will attached images still be rounded to the nearest .5?

z-z Sorry, I worded that wrong.
Right now, it draws players and showimg effects from other players' weapons on the nearest .5 x/y. 0.3 -> 0 1.3 -> 1 1.7 -> 1.5 Do the attached images draw where you see the player they're attached, or does it round the image's x/y to the nearest .5? |
It's the same like before and it will not be changed in the near future, those images (index below 200) are sent with less precision and should only be used for things that cannot be done otherwise, the attachtoowner thing is only clientside and mainly meant for particles and gani scripts.

Stefan, I've asked Cheetos to bring this to your attention, but I might as well post it here too.
I've made a few changes/fixes to the pics1.png over time... Here's the thread (I'll attach the most recent version here as well) I was hoping you could include this in the following Graal updates and make it the default pics1.png download. There are just some pixel errors that are fixed, some inconsistencies (Some tiles still used the old tree parts). I also fixed the transparency issue that I had with the gravestone tiles (Showing black where there should've been grey when playing Graal) so hopefully that won't cause anybody problems with this tileset. |
