Graal Kingdoms

Why is it that just about EVERY week or so the server crashes? It's happening quite frequently, and some users are getting rather irritated about it as much as i am. Is it possible we could get to the bottom of this and fix the problems causing it? I seriously hate logging in and seeing the server down, then waiting like 2 hours for someone to fix it. Which also brings another thing to my attention, WHY don't we have a staff member in a few different time zones? we all know Bjorn, Stefan, and Sam are probably sleeping right now.. but i'm not sure about Lance. Anways.. you've heard me rant enough, now get this fixed! :whatever:

Where do you live?

Check where they live, most can't reboot it though.

I lack the magic wand to reboot the npc server with magic IRL.

I would of if I could of. But I couldn't, so I didn't.

lol...the npc has been down for...since 11:50 or so my time (it's 1:50 now) so ya it's been down for quite awhile x.x this is the 2nd or 3rd time it's happened today O_o

I restarted the server 20 min ago.

Sorry for the downtimes. The bad thing is that it never crashes when I am running the debugger so that I haven't found the problem yet. I will try to run it more often.

Does it keep going down frequently?

Only as of recent, and the NPC server was in Debug mode - so it should be fixed :)

I believe Stefan had the debugger running this time (as ZH mentioned) so he should be able to find the cause of the crashing.

It's almost in patterns, off experience, to me it looks like somebody is glitching something at a certain time, or initating something that collides with something else..etc.

2pm my time, come around, the server usually crashes. It doesnt look like it's anything major, but it's bloody annoying.

DoS, anyone?

I'd highly doubt that. I wouldn't waste packets when the server crashes just fine without any help.
