By 'map' do you mean level? Or an actual "Hit 'M' to make the map show" map?

How do I make part of a graphic transparent inside the graal engine?

I have a cross and only want the cross to show not the area that form after the rightangles that are made when the two boxes connect.
So basicalyl how do i make part of an img invisible?
