Gk Shields
 

Hey, my buddy Alarid was showing me the improved version of the Immortal Frost shield of gk he made, hes inspired me. I was wondering if there are any other shields out there on gk that are rare, but the graphic for them is pretty bad. I'd be willing to rework it. If you know of any, please post the shield along with its name.

I like that new version your buddy made...but where is the frosty on it? X_x

Maybe you could give the angel shield of darkness new gfx so it looks different than the regular angel shield.

Redo Tower shield and Kite shield. They're both pretty dam boring.

Um, how about HSoD? I know that it isn't rare, but the gfx could be better.

It used to be hot, but when alchemy came out, it wasnt nice anymore somehow

Please post pictures of these shields as I do not know what they look like.

I think just the dark wings would look fine. Instead of the little area you have near the bottem.

Here is the gfx for the tower shield. The gfx are indeed rather boring, and a change would be nice (especially since I have the shield hehe).

Did you not notice the display of skill in that shield? The detial acquired in such a limited ammount of area and the texture displayed so beautifully?

Also Agree with ZH, The tower shield may be "boring" But if you actually look closely and know about pixel art, its quite nice.

Its not pixel art, just look at it close up, no dithering, no limited color use, none of the standard signs of pixel art. I think it could use however, if not a total revamp, an increase in brightness.

Well, the ice sword was better the way it was before X_X (sorry Taik).
The frontal angle looks the worst.

As for the tower shield, yes it's nice, I guess, but it is... it...zzz... :asleep:

I liked the Old Ice sword GFX as well, The new one is cool..but not really fit for this game

I think the shield the Donald has here is far too great for the Dark Angel; honestly that awesome gathering of evil matter in the shield just makes it so freakin' wicked badass... but yes, awesome D. i'm a gangster ~~

As for the Tower Shield, I don't like recolors! Do it from scratch or just leave it, yo. :)

Alright the Dark Angle shield is completed, and I have tested it rest assured, it looks totally badass in game, enjoy. I will start working on the other shields a little later today if not tomorrow.

Holy crap Donald. That new Dark Angel shield is badass. If I walked into a warrior holding that shield I'd be crapping my pants. And it would be cool if you could use the shield for a melee attack to rip people apart with the curved feather part.

I thought I would just make something because you were talking about the tower shield. Hows this for a tower shield? Or it could be something else?

HSOD looks nice here, but it wouldn't ingame I don't think.

I like that shield Liquid, maybe dull it down abit. It still looks really.. well, Zoneish. But I do like it. Try to make it more realistic, dull deader colors for a shield yaknow

Yeah I think its the top of the shield, that makes it look zonish. Ill dull it down.

I think its because the silver outlime rim of it doesnt look much like metal. Not only that i has too think of a black outline towards the points of it.

The black outline is 1 pixel XD

I like the old Tower shield GFX.
I like these as well..but maybe have it as a new item as you had said before?
