"stop" pk rule
Everyone there is a rule on the Police Web Site that has a rule saying "If your PKing someone and they tell you to stop, then they must stop" well that rule is over. That takes away the fun for PKers, it is basicly a rule for people who are scared to die, if you dont wanna be PKed then pause. That rule is no longer in affect. Thanks to Waar and Sparkplug for bringing this to my attention.

awesome.
|
thanks a lot!
|
Alright, I'm a saint though so it doesn't bother me. Besides, I never saw PKers paying attention to that anyway.

good thing this rule is gone! |
yes. he was going around into big fights between people who were just fighting each other for fun and screaming "STOP."
|
Maybe you should at LEAST make a rule that says you cannot PK the same person more than 5 times in a 10 minute period.

a PKer is a PKer. they arnt gonna limit to 5 kills and what not, i should know i PK on Classic. If you dont wanna die, there is a magical mystical power called PAUSE!

Eventually a PKer will give up and go find a new person to kill, the most they wait is like 10 minutes

well deal with it

a good system (in my opinion anyway) would be to get rid of AP. have players choose what they want to be, either PVP or NONPVP. PVPers would be allowed to attack anyone who is also PVP, and would not be allowed to use pause. NONPVPers would not be attackable. PVPers would have a red name, while NONPVPers would have a blue name. once a status is chosen it can not be changed. also, NONPVPers wouldn't be able to attack anyone.

at least we dont have to jail all of graal

How about every player gets a Parry NPCW. If they are attacked, they can use it with a (Your AP-Their AP)% success rate. If you are successful, they lose their sword, and you get theirs. They have to buy a new one...maybe using the Graal Weapons Shop tech. so they can buy it back at the same level.
If a PKer attacks a Saint, and the Saint succesfully parries, he has a 100% chance of stealing the PKer's sword. If a PKer attacks a newbie, and the newbie parries, each time he has a 50% chance of stealing it. Could be fun, or maybe not. |
Hehehe, that would wipe out PKers. Most PKers dont even have money.
|
Besides. Small time stealing is more fun than PKing anyway, if your in it for money at least

then we have to be able to
sell the damn swords to the weapons shop and get cash (half of what the normal sword cost is) but after a while everyone would become a saint and no one could pk.
|
err, it shouldn't take their sword, but block the attack instead.
|
Good that rule is gone :D
|
stop....
did any one even pay attention to that?
|
that was an extremely stupid rule
and sometimes its fun to watch PKers run around trying to be the crap outta each other for no reason. While getting killed all the same, and dropping all their cash (if any) and watching everyone run like little vultures trying to get it i need my english class again. that was 2 huge run-on sentences |
For the last 2 weeks, whenever Spekkio saw me, he came after me and tried to pk me. THAT IS A LOT MORE TIME THAN 10 MINS!!! And I'm supposed to fight back and get killed so easily because I'm a bomy?? NO. PKers do NOT try to PK you for 10 mins then go away.
|
I think there should be a no PK day each month
|
yay good rule.
|
Yay. no more rule.
|
hoooray
