v4=laggy now :(
 

alright at first, v4 would never lag. But now with all the updates it's always laggin....just like v2....anyone no why??? :whatever: :mad: :frown: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:

It's all those emoticons. They're lagging your graal client.

No way. v4 is as smooth as silk.

V4 is so slow it's not even funny. I keep v2 around and use it for every server that doesn't require v4 (such as Elemental Kingdoms)

my v4 runs smoother than v2, i love it, maybe u need better internet or broadband.

If you are experiencing lag with Graal 4, I suggest you update your graphics drivers.

I agree, if he's having any lagging issues could it be one of his drivers or some kind of Option he has changed causing this problem?

No he didn't. He said update the drivers, not buy a new one. Theres a difference. ;)

I have a cheap graphics card that runs perfectly with G4.

Nvidia GeForce BFG Tech 5500. It was only $90.

Are you saying you lag on Zone only, or Graal in general? I have less lag on version4 than before, it's great ^^

well i have broadban :\o and v4 uses 81k memory under the procces thing(when u press alt+ctrl+del) maybe i have to many process's runnin?

Is it actually client lag (flamethrower being slower, item menu navigation slow) or is it more network lag, like other people are jumping instead of moving slowly, you are killed by bullets before actually seeing them etc. ?

ya being killed by bullets without seeing them happened to me like 4 times today....and people do jump sometimes... :( is it my internet?? :(

Yes seems to be your connection. Eventually also enable UDP, it should work with v4 again, that could speed up things.

It can vary. For me personally it only happens on certain individuals. If I see someone walking on the spot I just check/uncheck my UDP and everything is fine.

i keep my upd disabled, my zone plays fine

Checked (udp disabled): more secure, will always work
Uncheck (udp enabled): faster, but might not always work; this is also required for microphone chat

I'm not going to go pay money when I am already paying money for the laggish program ;)
